Comfortable 4 night stay at the Pullman Albert Park where we were staying to visit friends and family, so didn’t need a city centre location. The hotel has a decent bar with food options, and restaurant. There’s not much within quick walking distance of the hotel but Ubers were easy to obtain. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and housekeeping arranged non-allergenic bedding for us. I’d have to observe that furniture and doors in the room looked a bit worse for wear, decor a bit shabby and cleaning wasn’t up to scratch as dust was left in various places.

On arrival I opened the fridge, only to see a cockroach running inside it. A squished with my bare hand and took a photo of it. I requested clean wine glasses as the ones in the room presented with stains and fingerprints. Immediately I proceeded to concierge to report it and I asked them if we could change our room. They moved us to a Lakeview room which we had to pay for. At the time of checking and the time of changing of rooms I did bequest for a late check out at 12 pm which was granted. At around 11:15 Following morning there was a knock on the door asking what time we’re checking out which I replied. I said we have 12 o’clock checkout. The lady apologise and moved on. At around 11:45 A gentlemen knocked on the door numerous times whilst we were intimate, he then open the door and put his head in to see us both naked. Very disappointing will never return.

First room was inappropriate due to resent injury and the bathroom was very dated . Staff organised and alternative room which was a big improvement and saved the weekend .

Disappointed with room allocation for 8 night stay - view pretty poor - disabled bathroom which was not requested (or required) no storage in it - room next to bank of 3 lifts which could hear operating all night - room size so small no where to place cases or sit requested second chair to place cases on - spoke with reception after 1st night all offered was an apology - location was good for why we were staying - staff friendly - shame about the room not what I would have expected
