It was our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we chose to stay at Novotel for the milestone. The room is comfortable and the staff are lovely. It was our only night away from our young family and we had the worst experience due to a rowdy ground floor function who could be heard from the 11th floor. Although our anniversary milestone was ruined, I would like to thank Jade for going above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. We can't thank her enough! She is an absolute gem! The stay was a gift from a family friend but on checkout we were given the option to pay for it ourselves which was not nice since it was a gift. We felt obliged to pay for it since the gentleman asked for our credit card details instead of utilising the card on file for the booking.

The room was nice and the staff very friendly… but the mould in the shower exhaust was sickening. It was not the usual few spots this was like a front lawn. Long green tentacles of mould growing amongst the fury black spores. This aside it was an enjoyable experience

The room was like a dungeon - room 108 - toilet kept blocking, window faced out to apartments 1 metre away so could not open curtains, air con would not adjust or turn off, it was set at 18 degrees and the room was freezing.

The room was also located right next to storage areas for the kitchen etc and there was loud banging throughout the night. The customer service was dreadful, staff looked like they hated working there, when I checked out the staff member did not even make eye contact with me, the whole experience was terrible.
