The staff at the Pullman quay are simply the best nothing is ever too much trouble, and they tend to my every need. Location is fabulous and it is my go-to place to stay in Sydney.

Hotel chosen for superb location as i was going to be at the opera house and botanic gardens daily. Generous sized flat and pretty well equipped. Very useful to have laundry. Wonderful balcony view to enjoy. Extremely comfortable bed , good bed linen and towels. Flat showing some signs of wear and tear, i left a list with reception of things that need sorting. Particularly stained flooring around toilet and burns on kitchen floor. Housekeeping ok. Concierge service absolutely excellent. Found included breakfast choices limited, i like more variety rather than one main choice, generous portions as they were. My first eggs benedict was cold. rather restrictive, penny pinching to only include one coffee etc! Room service food high quality and quick service. Phone in room not clear how to call for service not all extension numbers were answered. Did not dine in the restaurant as menu choices not to my taste. Pool area in need of some TLC again i left list of things that need attention especially the door into the ladies toilet. Found it irritating to have to take two lifts to get to the pool. Overall I was happy with my choice of hotel.

Love the renovations to level 2. Food in the Bar and at breakfast is much improved and delicious. The breakfast package menu is disappointing and really drags the breakfast experience down. We overheard other guests complaining about the new policy. I just want eggs on toast with mushrooms and tomato, but that's not available. We miss seeing the staff like Edgar at breakfast, as we now have to sit in the small area with restricted views instead of the restaurant or the bar. Seeing Edgar behind the coffee machine was always a highlight to our day. He makes the best coffee of anyone on staff.

Perfect overnight stop right on the harbour, absolutely beautiful location, the quay is one of my favourite places so this hotel gives me everything I need, restaurant was amazing with great views and service. Our room was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here over a dozen times over the last two decades; I am very fond of the place, its stunning location and the staff are generally very helpful. My last two stays Feb 2025 and Jan 2026 have been blighted by the inability to have a comfortable shower because the water temperature fluctuates between cool/cold and scalding hot while the controls are left untouched. I did complain last time (Feb 2025) and was given some rate reduction recognising the issue I was assured on my most recent trip that this had been resolved but it clearly hasn't. I really didn't want to go through this whole complaint process again as the money is irrelevant; The lack of honesty about the issue is probably the most disappointing aspect of the whole situation and it is unlikely that I will stay here on my future Sydney trips.
