This hotel has a great location, in the city, near everything and walking distance to everything. drop off and pick up can be challenging due to the design of the street and the busienss of the area. I stayed in one of the premium studeo rooms on level 19. it was quiet, had an ok bed (but you could still feel the gap between the two beds pushed together to make a queen) the room was quiet and i had minimal street noise and minimal hallway noise. the coffee machine was good and useful. the bathroom was small but very functional. the desk to work on was good. the lighting in the room was still rather dark, which seems to be a trend in hotel rooms, however if i am getting up before sunrise for work or travel, i want light to get me going, packing in the dark mood lighting of hotel rooms drives me mad. having said that location is brilliant.

I visited family in Brisbane and stayed at the Sebel in the city. The location is convenient and staff were friendly. The Duty Manager Ken always assisted my mum and myself with a smile. He was not only professional but warm and personable. Thank you Sebel team for a wonderful stay.

Cheap and mean

Cheap breakfast, very stingy, not a buffet, and there was no specification about breakfast when booking. When I arrived I was told the breakfast was "a la carte" which means one item of a menu, and when I wanted to modify, or add an extra items to my breakfast (like extra eggs), I was told this would be an "Extra Charge". (I didn't order juice so this was a "saving" to the Hotel, which they ignored). When I tried to bring the "extra charges" up with management at checkout they refused to remove the extra charges and instead offered me a 10% discount on the "extra charges" - ie about $2.90 off! How tight and mean is that? The rooms are old and tired. In my room the carpet was all wrinkled and lifting up. There is a lot of loud construction noise close by outside of the Hotel from building of a high-rise tower block including cranes and jackhammering/power tools and this was not explained on their website. The construction went until 10pm at night and then also during the night, including construction noise at 3.40am. Could do better!!!

We do offer an A La Carte style breakfast instead of a buffet; we will review our communication methods around our breakfast offering and ensure to update so future guests are well informed. We are also sorry to read about the disruption caused by external construction works. This is not the usual feedback we receive; if we are notified in advance of overnight works, we do communicate with guests accordingly. I am also pleased to advise that we currently working through replacing carpets in guest room. Ho trascorso 3 notti in questo hotel e mi sono trovato benissimo. La posizione è perfetta per qualsiasi necessità di spostamento e l'area si dimostra tranquilla e ricca di servizi. La camera era spaziosa, tranquilla, ben insonorizzata e dotata di ogni comfort. Il personale si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile, soprattutto per risolvere un enorme problema con la mia valigia smarrita dalla compagnia aerea. Lo consiglio senza dubbio.

Viajei com 2 sobrinhas e este hotel foi a melhor opção que poderíamos ter encontrado em Brisbane. Super espaçoso, conta com uma cozinha completa inclusive com máquina de lavar louça e roupa. Uma grande sala com sofá-cama e um quarto amplo. Ficamos super bem acomodadas. O banheiro parece ter sido renovado recentemente. Os atendentes da recepção foram todos muito simpáticos e prestativos. A localização não poderia ser melhor. Bem no centro e assim é possível ir a todos os lugares a pé. O café da manhã não está incluído na diária. A única deficiência é que não há wi-fi free no quarto, somente na recepção. Ficamos muito satisfeitas.
