Overall it was a lovely stay. Feedback would be that we were thrilled with the view from our room. And the food in the Boiler Room and View restaurants was delicious. The communications failure on Sunday 15th February was a worry, leaving us without any way to contact Q-Station staff by phone. There was confusion about when a $350 per night rate room refresh would occur, and what it would entail… if a full clean of room (linen/towels/amenities happens every three days, then doesn’t a room refresh (leave towels on floor if you want new ones) = new towels/amenities happens daily? Apparently not. The Shuttle Buses should all have auto-extendable steps and Accessibility access. This is a major failure in your Guest Inclusivity. The Boiler Room restaurant has NO Accessible considerations. There is no lift but there is a long flight of stairs. You need to create a dining area downstairs for diners with accessibility. What’s the point of having a ramp into the restaurant if the only way up to the dining room is stairs?!? Lighting in the accommodation needs to be upgraded. The ceiling fan light and Room Extractor fan light are inadequately dim. A couple of LED down lights will not negatively affect the heritage aspect of the room, but will mitigate guests’ eye strain! The light in the wardrobe alcove was not working. We loved sitting on the wrap around verandah, taking in the sea air and view. And we were super excited an Echidna decided to embark on an insect-hunt all along the grass-way past our P12 block #love

The cabin's balcony was facing away from the water, with the very best view coming from the back bathroom through a cracked window :-( At nearly $1K for the night, it was a bit disappointing. Would have been great if the lack of a view could have been made clearer upon booking. Some small snacks and further amenities in the accommodation (water bottles, biscuits, etc) would also go a long way, especially considering the remoteness of the hotel. In short, while we had a great stay and the location is beautiful, did not feel that the cost was entirely justified - some small extras could go a long way.

Nice location, great staff. Some of the most helpful staff members we've ever seen. A real shame that the views are not as advertised from the room we booked, and that there's no air conditioning in the rooms - fan makes little difference.
