Absolutely memorable, the restaurant was so lovely, our cabins were original from the era. The staff were very helpful and nice. Museum was filled with so much , everything from the views, beach , cafe and era buildings were fantastic. The best thing however was the night ghost tour , I actually had an experience aswell as capturing spirits on camera. Will definitely return !!

We loved the location of Q station. The history, the views, the cafe and restaurant were all amazing. However, the room we stayed in (P10, room 50) did not impress. There was no hot water (cold showers), there was a horrible smell in the bathroom (like a blocked drain?) and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Overall the standard of cleanliness was poor. Staff were helpful and we really did have a great time despite the smells and discomfort.

The "upgrade* could not be accepted as it did not have single beds. A wait resulted whilst another room was prepared. On one night, after being dropped at the entry gate by taxi, there was a wait of half an hour for the shuttle. The room was very spartan. No shuttle service to town on Mondays and Tuesdays. I, or my family, would not stay there again. Below the usual Accor standard.

Beautiful location, staff were friendly, the shuttles were good. I hadn’t realised when I booked that I was away from my friends. Wasn’t obvious when booking. The rooms are very pretty basic for the price. I hated the pictures in the room. I have done the ghost tour, so that was a little unnerving. I couldn’t get the fan to switch off either.

Overall okay. The bathroom had mould on the ceilings, shower screen only covered 1/3 of the bathtub/shower area, so water went all over the place when showering. Husband took a towel off the rack and there was a bug underneath it on the wall. However, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just housekeeping and cleaners could do better.

Our family had an amazing time at the Q Station as usual. We stay here as often as we can and it is a perfect location to go to A Night at the Barracks!
