We recently used Q Station for a national conference. The conference room was great and accommodation was clean and cosy, however our experience was let down by the lacklustre, often grumpy and sometimes downright rude staff. While some staff were helpful, we encountered quite a few communication breakdowns and felt a general air of unhappiness amongst the staff which soured our experience. While I understand that the ever-changing Covid 19 restrictions can make for a stressful work environment, I don't think that stress should be projected onto customers. The service we encountered will definitely be a deciding factor in whether we return for our conference again next year.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The mini bus was great to get around, since it was raining when we needed to go to dinner. Plus with helping bringing our luggage from and to our car. The history of the Q Station was interesting. The heritage old style was charming. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in our bathroom.

I stayed as part of a conference. The conference facilities were quite undercooked and disorganised. This mainly appeared to be a lack of briefing from your conference organiser to the staff and not enough staff on the days. The hotel room was nice but no memorable - luckily the view was. The absolute highlight of the trip was the Boiler Room. The most amazing food and staff. However, the mould in womens bathrooms made it almost impossible to breathe in.

Not impressed with mouldy accomodation and very musty which led to an asthma attac

The food was much better than before. I would give the food a 10/10. However, the mould on railings and very musty accommodation in the standalone cottage was not great as this led to me having severe asthma issues and then having time off work.

Loved our stay. Loved being close to our home yet feeling like we were away. Enjoyed the style of accomodation and the views. Room lovely. Heating excellent given it was not warm weather. Food in restaurant beautiful. Service at the restaurant was a little slow with drink service but all staff lovely. Thankyou

I wished my stay was longer. Only being on site overnight there was obviously so much more to Q Statiin to explore. My room was comfortable, quiet and clean. My adult sons accompanied me to dinner at The Coachhouse restaurant. The food was good and service friendly and prompt. The shuttle bus driver was obliging and drove thoughtfully over the many speed humps. From a spectacular sunset welcome to a late breakfast feast before checkout, it was a pleasant experience and one U would recommend to my friends and family.

It is always lovely to stay, and the room was lovely. However a few things took away - firstly the pool room is now locked and unable to be used. Sitting on the balcony of the pool room was one of our favourite things to do. Further the other common room near the hospital was hired out for a function. Lastly it feels very old school that all of the qStation only provides white sugar. Both in our rooms and at breakfast there was no raw sugar - something I have experienced in over a decade! Most people I know do not use white sugar anymore. And whilst there was a coffee machine at breakfast at the Views - there was no way to heat up milk for your coffee if your not having cows milk. For this reason we would not pay $30 again to have breakfast there - you expect hot fresh coffee with your breakfast for that price.

We loved the accommodation - great views, and a great breakfast. We couldn't get our heater to turn on which was a bit of a pain, however, in staying this, we didn't bring it to the attention of staff when we should have either. The ghost tour was enjoyable, however, felt a little rushed as we attended on a very busy night (long weekend). It felt like there was too many people around which ruined the spooky atmosphere a bit.

Stayed here for 1 night as part of a business conference. Could not get any sleep as the smoke alarm in my room (and in the rest of the building I was in) kept going off every 30 mins - 1 hour from 2am - 8am. The roof was too high (3-4 metres) to press the silence button on the smoke alarm. Saw a guy the next day walking around with a massive pole to hit the silence button, but maybe it might be worth replacing them rather than only having a temporary fix? (i.e. the next person that will stay in that room will also get no sleep) Apart from that, the heater in my room was broken, there was no lighting to get from our rooms to the restaurant, the food for dinner was average at best, the breakfast did not have proper coffee and the fruit seemed to have been old (sitting out over multiple days). Would not recommend people stay here overnight, for business purposes the conference room was okay but nothing special, projector wasn't functioning properly. Overall the place needs some serious maintenance and staff training to be able to call itself a 4 star hotel.

The place is so quiet that you can definitely relax. Nice place. I just hope that you put some label what place it is and a brief story like others(like the hospital). We explore the place and just found out ourselves what place it is like morgue. We are staying next to a room that is empty with a bed and old stuff I hope that you put some label that it’s one of the old or sample accommodations for first class.

As an Accor member this was the worst room ever. Stayed here previously and have enjoyed. The place was filthy. Stains huge on sheets, mould all over shower and curtain, spiders webs. It was unexceptionable really, I wonder what Accor would think? Will make me re think my membership. No welcome gift. 1 bottle of water for 2 days. Boiler house was the savor of this trip. I have photos to prove.

Brilliant get away so near but yet so far

we took the opportunity to "run away" for two days to this hotel. It is close to Sydney but it feels a million miles away from anywhere given its bush setting. We stayed in a deluxe suite ( having been upgraded from a Heritage Suite). Very pleasant stay. We did have couple of glitches but these were dealt with efficiently by the staff on site and our feedback was taken on check out. Bed was comfortable. Room well appointed and the long shared balcony provided the right place to sit and watch the water and get to know the resident bush turkeys. It is the sort of place you need to be prepared to walk to see the full site but there is a bus service that will take you to and from the beach or restaurant. the hotel was not up to its full occupancy and not all amenities are available due to COVID but we would certainly consider returning. We swam and snorkelled from the private beach. We chose not to leave the hotel area for the two days but it is not far to Manly for those who want to venture further afield. The Bolier house restaurant offered a good menu - prices reflected hotel prices the world over- a little higher than an outside restaurant for dinner but on par for breakfast. Food was good.
