Overall, the service is great but there are few small areas that can be improved. Likes: - Great breakfast buffet spread - Service of doormen is fantastic - Water temperature and pressure in the bathroom are consistent, probably the best among the few hotels we have stayed during this trip - The long retractable clothes line is nice to have for hanging dry some small items - Very nice bathroom overall - Bed is also comfortable Dislikes: - Old hairdryer (many hotels have already started providing Dyson or similar hair dryers) - Iron is complicated to use - Wall socket only on one side of the bed. Inconvenient if need to charge/check phone during sleep. - Few ride railing drivers are not sure of where the hotel entrance is, so it would be great to have bigger signage at the the entrance. - Will be nice to provide 1 more chair for couple stay, or provide a foldable one kept inside wardrobe. - Difficult to draw the blackout curtain fully because of the TV. Having remote control for curtain will certainly help.

Front Desk and Housekeeping has major communications issues. Was told the rooftop bar closes at 2am and went at 11+pm to be informed that the bar would be closing soon but still served us our Accor+ welcome drinks. Sat down till 12.30am and it wasn't even closed as there were other customers too. Breakfast has a decent spread but repetitive if staying multiple nights. Not much meat options. Rainshower is good for some rooms. Stayed two nights on the first stay and encountered a few issues and reported it the next morning. 1) Non existent air conditioning despite control set at 16 degrees celsius 2) Sealed window panes but it was leaking after the rain 3) Thumbtacks that looked like a reverse button embedded into the carpet in front of the bed. I stepped onto it after getting off the bed barefoot. After returning in the night, the air conditioning is still the same, very much lacking. Was informed that the housekeeping could not find the thumbtacks despite having informed them of the location with pictures. Room change was offered but I was checking out early next day and did not want to repack. Took a video and showed the front desk the next day upon check out. Manager came out and offered us an upgrade the next time we come back to the suite with additional bed as we wanted twin beds. For the second stay, we checked in with the same exact lady that we communicated our issues earlier in the stay a week earlier. Welcome drink voucher not given on check in. I specifically asked if the additional bed has been set up and she said it was already prepared in advance as with the manager who said they will prepare in advance as I have given the booking reference via wechat. Entered the room and found that the bed wasn't set up. Made a call and housekeeping set up the bed in the living room as it would be too cramp in the bedroom. Now 1 person has to sleep in the awkward living room. Was informed that this suite upgrade has no executive lounge access, no complimentary spa oils/bubble that they give suite customers. The rainshower for the suite was also weak compared to the standard rooms. The only good part of the suite is that the air conditioning finally works. For a compensation that they willingly offered for our bad experience on the first stay, it was very insincere. I even felt like it was a downgrade and worse compared to our first stay. Room tips - stay normal room if you want nice rain shower, stay suite if you want air conditioning Accor hotels in the Yunnan region is general lacking and would not recommend any for the premium pricing.

AC was quite useless which made my experience was not really good . But staffs of this hotel were very nice and helpful .

It certainly is one of the best hotels we stayed in china The room is spacious with spectacular view of the entire city The bed,and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is amazing,with the restaurant located near the top floor with a 360 degree view of the entire city. The food variety is excellent with both local and western style cuisine.....after the breakfast there is no need for lunch!
