Very Comfortable Stay in Center of Sochi

Well appointed room, with sea view on high floor just made our stay. You can't get enough to watch the sea even if it's cold or stormy. Good spread of breakfast to fuel your start of the day. Very good gym and sauna facility included in the package, though heated swimming pool at extra cost was not explored by us. Totally loved our stay here.

04.11.2022 I went to the SPA that was included in our room rate and I found out that the pool has to be paid separately. As I didn't take any money with me to the SPA, I agreed to pay later at the reception. Nobody could tell me how much that would cost. When I entered the pool area, I saw that it was very small and so crowded that it was not really possible to swim there even 10 meters. The next day I was asked to pay Rubles 3.000,- extra. If I would have known that for such a poor pool experience, I have to pay such an amount, I wouldn't have used that offer. I am really disappointed and will never come back to this Mercure hotel in Sochi center, even if everything else was satisfying me 100%
