We stayed in the premium double room and the space was knock out! Lots of space, great reception team and a brilliant welcome. Perfect spot to explore the city and super easy to get to Murrayfield Ice Arena / Stadium via the bus literally outside!

We stayed for a week and it was a good location for us. Only odd item was we put a do not disturb sign and the cleaning team came. They didn't take out the trash or switch our towels, so it felt pointless to have our beds made.

The location of the hotel is its best feature. Otherwise, it’s in urgent need of a general refurbishment. The lobby looks quite tired and outdated. The rooms are nice but the floors are worn. The beds are comfortable but no sheets are provided on the mattress, only on the mattress topper. The sheer curtains in the rooms and lobby are very dirty. The breakfast is really great (especially the streaky bacon, which you rarely find anywhere, and the haggis). The (bottomless) coffee is excellent. The dishes we were served at Fogg’s restaurant, when we decided to dine there one night, were below average, unfortunately (an Aberdeen Angus burger - which was referred to as gourmet - and a steak from the grill).

This hotel.is falsely advertised with the pictures of the hotel on eon Prices St but it is really located near the Royal mile. Although very nice hotel the photoa should have been changes I thought I was booking it on the Princes St. I am giving this 1 star for wrong information but it actually deserves 4.
