The Hotel was Outstanding, the service exceptional, the taxi connection was a plus. The only reason for not awarding a 10 score was due the humidity smell at the room. Apart from that check, I will highly recommend the hotel to my friends and coworkers.

I am an All Gold Member. I have been to many Mercure hotels but Iguazu was a not so good experience. 1. You can only access sauna for half hour. The lady in spa sauna area is very grumpy 😡. She was very rude and said you have only 1/2 h available tomorrow even though it was empty on the day of my enquiry. 2. Front desk - very slow service. I asked for a pair of slippers at least 3 times and every time I was told will get back. After 24 hours they got back. 3. Taps of bathroom were leaking. I had conveyed to them. I did expect a better experience. But I think it was not up to mark.

First, I would like to clarify a few points in your comments: The sauna in the Spa is not limited to 30 minutes; however, we offer 30-minute sessions simply to better organize service in that area. If a guest wishes to use it for longer, they should book multiple sessions, subject to availability. I regret that the Spa staff's service was not what you expected. I assure you that our main objective is to make our guests feel satisfied and well taken care of. Regarding the slippers, I regret that we were unable to fulfill your request promptly. We will work on improving our communication with the HSK department. We have already addressed the issue with the faucet. Thank you for your time and for allowing us to improve our services. Arrival and front desk personnel were very nice and friendly. The spa services specially the use of the hot tub available only 30 min a day is a joke, specially over the winter when there is nothing to do. We rented 3 rooms (5 guests)and were told that only people from that room are allowed in the hot tub, I told them we are family and we would like to be together… the spa lady said we can only accommodate 4 of us, and that we will have to leave and come back in 30 more minutes… nobody was booked in between. There was another hot tub outside close to the pool, that was cold. We were told the pool was closed, they should have mentioned this before booking. Rooms were nice and clean. Dinning services were very unfriendly and when we asked the front desk upon check out for a glass they told us to go and ask the restaurant even though there were people there not working. I paid at checkout in dollars and they had to go and get change, they told me they didn’t have to provide me with change if they didn’t have it that I would just have to pay with credit card. Not a 5 star hotel for sure. Also, my credit card has been charged more of the amount that was already arraigned.

This was an excellent hotel and hugely recommended. Staff were helpful and pleasant and even walked us to our room. Alot of facilities including pool and restaurant which provided a wide variety of tasty food in the evenings. The hotel is located off the main highway, about a ten minute walk if you need to do this but alot of Uber taxis available.
