Location is the highlight of this stay. A lot of restaurants and shops around, including a wonderful gelateria right next to the hotel. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a little crowded because the space isn’t bit enough to accommodate many guests at the same time.

Great location of this hotel. Some staff better than others - Evelin clearly did not want to be at work that day. Rooms are small and basic, nothing flashy.

Room is quite small and dated. It did have air conditioning. The staff were half half - some friendly and some shouldn’t work there. Evelin was not very friendly and barely spoke.

The hotel is very comfortable, the bed and other furniture were very good. Also the location in downtown is a plus. Near is possible to find restaurants and grocery shops at needed.

My initial impression was not good - the member of staff who checked me in uttered only two words during the check in process - "passport" and "sign". I tried to initiate a bit of conversation, but it was apparent that I was wasting my time - for example I asked what time breakfast began at as I knew I had an early start the next morning and was ignored. Maybe they were having a bad day. It is not representative of all of the staff - I was speaking to one particularly nice member of housekeeping staff. The hotel is well located. It is within walking distance of the bus station and of a supermarket. It is also within walking distance of a number of restaurants. A taxi firm have a small office outside the hotel. You'll be at the Brazilian side of the falls by taxi in 25 minutes. There was a good selection for breakfast. The hotel is well maintained and clean. There is good, fast wifi. Only minor annoyance was the absence of an in room safe, which is unusual for an Ibis hotel - rooms in Ibis hotels generally do have a safe. The price paid was good value for my short stay.
