Location is the center is optimal for my needs, there’s a good selection of restaurants and bars around the hotel, some of them with live music until late (for people having a problem with that ask a room on the rear part of the hotel). There is also a supermarket (“Italo”) 5 minutes away, the gasoline station behind the hotel has a small laundromat if you need, and there is plenty of bus connections around the corner on Avenida Schimmelpfeng in front of Mc Donald’s where you can also catch direct buses to Ciudad del Este in Paraguay (25>40 minutes depending on traffic). Rooms are standard Ibis rooms with all usual Ibis basic amenities, Wi-Fi signal and speed is ok throughout the property. Between the reception and the bar there is also a small tour desk that helps you organize your visit to the Cataratas , to shopping in Ciudad del Este and to other local attractions. All the staff is very nice and helpful, I would specially thank Ms. Gabriela for her kindness!
