On arrival we were informed there would be no meals for both nights and no room service not good when extremely hungry after a 3 hour drive should not be doing parties if you can't cater for guests. Buffet breakfast was good but next day was an absolute shambles food was cooked fresh but unedible utter waste of our hard earned cash

Asa on the bar was fantastic! Poured my pints of Corona in a gin glass to look better at the dinner table! This made my night so much better. The food for the Christmas menu was lovely. We all had a great night of food, drinks and dancing! Thanks! .

Overall enjoyable stay. The room was warm and as it was December that was welcoming it was also very clean. The staff, from reception to restaurant and bar were friendly and efficient, a pleasure to interact with. The one negative is that the food is, at best, quite mediocre and we rated the sticky toffee pudding (a favourite) a 4 out of 10!

Firstly, well done to all staff. Every single one that I spoke to were extremely welcoming and friendly and accommodating. Pleasant stay. I can’t really say if it was value for money as this was a stay for work so I’m not sure how much the room cost for two nights. Comfortable room, really powerful hot shower. Very clean. Lovely and warm with a radiator which could be controlled to your liking. No noise at night so very restful. Dated decor but it was all in good condition, just an old style. Public hallways could maybe do with a spruce up as doorways and carpets looking really worn, Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. And the location was ideal adjacent to large shopping centre, retail park with designer outlet and huge Asda. Plenty of parking onsite. I’d have no problem staying again for a work trip.
