I didn't stay but attended an event. The reception staff were polite, enthusiastic and very helpful a cut above the normal disinterested experience one usually gets from hotel receptionists. Nice refurb on the hotel also. Well done guys.

The room was tired and needed a refit espesially draughty windows, barroom fittings, bed not made underneath just threw doublet on top. Sanitary towel bags not replenished on day 2. A contractor working at the hotel parked his van over the two nearest disabled parking places in freezing conditions reception did have it removed. We skipped breakfast on day one but on daparture day we thought the breakfast could have been served later to 10am for guests who are relaxing not working also the cooked breakfast was Luke warm at best and unappertising we wouldn’t want to have it again. Sausages were like billets we’d expect local made produce. The staff were pleasant. We are unlikely to choose Meecure Hotels again for our stays.

The communal areas of the hotel were lovely and staff were very friendly, and the rooms being dated might not have been something we’d have noticed so much had we not stayed in two other hotels that week for similar price that were significantly nicer rooms (both similar city stays).
