From the moment we checked in this was a lovely experience. We needed to be near enough to the centre of town to meet up with family and friends, as well as to do some shopping, and this hotel is very well located. Our room and bed were lovely, with a great view out over the sea.

We enjoyed the sea view room but felt there was very little wardrobe space and no drawers

We arrived and were put in The Mews part of the building. We had to walk with our suitcases for quite a way up and down stairs and then when we got to the room our key didn't work !! Then I had a telephone call asking for more money because I had paid for a single and was in a twin. I had actually paid for a twin and was told to forget about it by the lady who called me!! We also couldn't park at the hotel because apparently someone had parked over two bays and therefore had to pay £34.50 to park. Overall not the best. Also in the twin room the beds were so close we it was like a double but two single beds. Nice bathroom though.

I appreciate your comments regarding the lack of parking availability, the twin room layout with beds positioned too closely together, and the absence of a check‑out conversation. These are all valid points and will be reviewed with the relevant teams to improve procedures, communication, and guest comfort. While I’m pleased you found the bathroom nice and cleanliness acceptable, I regret that the overall experience led to disappointment. Lovely welcome by reception. Upgraded to Premium room in the Mews. Clean room, everything we needed. Breakfast staff efficient, but slow to replace run out food. Great to have a car park. Will be back!
