Lovely comfortable quiet room, great food and excellent service. Seem less check in and checkout. Car park was a bit full at times, and disappointing we couldn’t get a cocktail at 5pm, but had a normal drink instead.

Lovely trip. Great value and thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Denbies winery which was included in our offer. Good food. Check in was busy and didn’t seem enough staff to deal with it. Tried to contact reception from our room 4 times but phone went unanswered.

A very relaxing stay. The grounds and location by Box hill is lovely. The rear hotel rooms are in a lovely position. I felt very relaxed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great. The mattress was very hard and not to the standard I would expect. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean but the bathroom needed some maintenance as the grouting and sealant was Grey and black in places. The pool was lovely but again looked like it needed a deep clean as the lower sides were marked with grime/discoloured.

My room was not ready for me until gone 1600. Once I got my room, it was clean and tidy. Curtains were too short so all the light in the morning came under the gap as such, I was awake and could not get back to sleep. The breakfast was one of the worst I’ve had. Everything was cold. The sausages were wet and it took quite a while to be seated. Defiantly not worth the £150 I paid for a single nights stay.

We had a lovely night here, picked as it was near National Trust places we wanted to visit. Very happy with the experience. Only negative was the breakfast tea, a jug of hot water doesn't stay hot if it isn't on a hot tray so had a cold cup of tea! Just have a hot water dispenser as you do for the coffee.
