Super service from Jeff. I only needed to use the hotel for some lunch and business calls. Jeff was incredibly warm and friendly, as were all the staff I encountered. Good useful hotel with decent amenities and staff with the right, can-do attitude.

The good points: Staff were very efficient and friendly . The young waiters / waitresses were brilliant. Breakfast was quite nice . The bad points - room was drab and badly in need of decoration. Shower was absolutely useless. Lighting needs updating . I felt like I had been taken back to the 80s .

We stayed for just one evening, we arrived around 4pm for check in. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. We were given room number 123, we decided to order some food to the room before heading out to a family party. We ordered via the QR code we were waiting around 30 minutes and nothing came, we tried phoning room service and the reception desk several times with no luck, so I had to go down, the lady sat on the reception desk went to check and said they'd just put it through and it would be with us soon (no apology was given) the food arrived around 30 minutes later (so we'd been waiting 1 hour in total) the lady who delivered it apologised and gave us two free drinks and said it would be taken off the room charge. The bed was very comfortable, although the walls were very thin and we were awoken early buy people talking loudly. The bathroom needed a major update/ attention as there were cracks in the bath and sink, the bath its self was creaking when we were stood in it and it felt asthough it was about to collapse underneath us. Breakfast itself was lovely and the gentleman that served us was lovely and breakfast was brilliant value for money and the food was hot. Overall the stay was satisfactory, was ruined by the out of date bathroom and paper thin walls!
