The check in was fine. I had to made an alteration to the booking and the person at the end of the phone was really helpful. Check in personnel was polite and and welcoming. Staffs in general are great, no fault there. I had three night stays. I stayed on the ground floor which was ok. Although, it has a smell of rot. The bathroom door was repaired with a wood pattern sticker with the skirt of the door rotting. Not sure if the extractor in the bath room is working. Second day, I forgot to put on a sign and my room were made up. The second day, I thought I put the sign to make up my room and nothing happened. Third day, I just put the sign of not making up my room and nothing happened again. So not sure what the door sign is for. On the third day, I was working in the room in the morning and the fire alarm went off for testing, bad luck. Breakfast is the usual fried breakfast, no complain there. Coffee taste a bit burnt.

Overall pretty good. Room clean but looked tired.......scuff marks, mould in the shower, carpets stained. Fan in bathroom wouldn't stop all night and quite annoying. Staff were good and breakfast OK. Why not do fresh porridge though?

1. Made a booking on-line but then immediately realised I'd got the date wrong by 1 day. When rang in I was told that I couldn't have my money back and couldn't make any changes - despite a notice on the main web site telling me I could. And of course I wasn't asking for my money back! However after a telephone to the hotel directly the change was made and the situation saved! 2. The EV charger outside the hotel (an external supplier) was not powered up, but the hotel staff were very helpful and arranged for it to be fixed the very next day - so we got charged up for the return journey after all!

The staff were lovely and welcoming, but hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Paper thin walls and windows. Thankfully the guests weren't noisy but you could here everything !

I asked for an accessible room and although agreed at time of booking I was given a room that was not accessible. The shower was on big step, the entrance to the bathroom itself had a step. The bed was ok although furnitures were a bit dated. It would be good to have water in the room. The TV was fixed to the desk but was unstable. The ibis is meant to be upper than the ibid budget but I feel the ibis budget are fresher and offer pretty much the same apart from the size of the room which is bigger at ibis. I don’t feel value for money was achieved. At £110 a night, I would have expected a modern and fresher environment with an accessible room as requested.

Noisy hotel disgusting corridor carpet bad ventilation in the room tap dripped sing plug not opening shower room door would not shut Powdered egg for breakfast The standards set by the Ibis group in France are not on show in this hotel

The 2 ladies on reception were a credit to your hotel but the man with them nearly ruined the experience as he was very abrupt and unhelpful , he should not be on reception, find him another job where he does not come in contact with guests.

Well located but very average room

Granted we booked very last minute so maybe we didn’t get the best room because it’s all that was left but the room was very average. The amenities were great but the bed was extremely squeaky which meant the minute one of us moved it made a noise. The walls (or door) were so thin that we could hear everything going on in the hallway - not to mention the hallway door separating hotel guest rooms from the lobby being slammed every time someone wanted to accès their rooms. Our room was also right on the parking with someone’s car boot right at our window (we actually had to be careful with how much we opened it so as to not scratch their car!) which meant that when other guests woke up and got in their car at 6:30am, it woke us up. Reception was lovely though

Stayed at the IBIS in Lincoln for one night , and the expeirence was awful. We were put into a room that was not very well maintained. the floor was filthy and grimy . People were using the space outside the window to smoke at all times of the evening and early morning , chatting very loudly causing disturbance. Doors were banging all through the night and early in the morning as guests were moving around.

The hotel was easy to get to and plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and all of them seemed to want to do anything to make our stay exceptional. The room was very basic and had the feel of a university dormitory. The carpet was so thin it felt like we were walking on concrete. Many of the fixtures and fittings around the hotel were well worn but the room and public areas were clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Just what we needed

We needed an accessible room with two single beds which is not that easy to find. Room is of course budget but pretty well laid out for a wheelchair user. Breakfast was fine for the price (apart from the ready made scrambled eggs which taste of nothing). Staff are very helpful and friendly.
