The pool has children’s swimming lessons from non hotel guests and I wasn’t made aware of lesson times. So I was being watched by spectating parents whilst in the pool and the changing rooms were full of children and parents and no private changing area. So I was expected to dress in front of children. They had a private family changing room which you had to walk back out past the pool to get to it was dirty and Ice cold. I had to walk back with children wrapped in towels because it was that inadequate they now have colds and this is the reason why. Ridiculous for the price we paid! I only booked this hotel because it had leisure facilities what a let down ! I booked a family room and upon check in we’re told they had none available. They claimed we were given a room upgrade to two rooms with a joining door however, this meant me and my husband had to have a child each and sleep separately had I been told this in advance I would’ve cancelled my booking and I wouldn’t have bothered to stay here. I booked almost two months in advance for a specific room for it not to be available was ridiculous. The bathrooms were dated and filthy. Stayed in better premier inns.

Since I was at the hotel on a business trip for one night, my stay was good. The hotel was located quite close to where I needed to go. The staff were great, lots of choice for breakfast and there is lots of parking if you are driving. They let me leave my car there and collected it later.
