On the Friday night I had a good sleep although the room was way too hot, on opening the window to cool it down I had the sound of air con units. On Saturday night I could hear the music from the parties, however when I got into bed that worsened as it became louder. At 12.05 I phoned down to ask when the music was due to stop. I was told that the DJ's had been asked to down the bass and were packing up. the music was still going at 12.25

Arrived early hours of the morning, 24 hour check in, given a very nice room with comfortable bed and lots of useful stuff in the room. Everything was spotless. Great, thanks very much.

Today we had afternoon tea at the hotel as a girls family day out. The experience was wonderful but the service from Irene made it that whole lot better, she was smiley, friendly and nothing was too much to ask of her. Irene really is a credit to the hotel.

A friend and I met in the Sports Bar at the hotel for a coffee. It was very comfortable, warm and clean and we were very well looked after by Irene. A great place for a quiet catch up. There is plenty of parking available and all the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.

Not sure briefly will cut it. Not sure why “Georgian manor house “is used to describe the hotel. It is so far from manor house! You enter and smell of musty damp hits you. We picked that stay because of the swimming pool! How foolish of us. First thing met us at the reception was a sign- sorry pool is closed ! When i asked why we were not informed . Lady said - don't know and carried on with the speech about faulty parts ect…. What receptionist didnt know that i spent 30+ years in hotels and know every speech possible. I received email couple days before arrival about possible upgrade - privilege room or smth like that where for 16 £ we can have robes slippers i thought why not . 16£ On arrival no one even mentioned that until i asked . I v been told we only have 3 of them and you already have big room!! Exact words of the receptionist. Not sure where and who trains your staff but believe me you can refuse guest with a smile on your face and still make guest happy. So off we went to room and decided to go to jacuzzi and sauna as we were told they are still working. Ha! Big yellow sign met us by jacuzzi. Ok lets do sauna. We were searching for sauna until finally one of the guests told us SAUNA IS SEPARATE !! So if you came with your partner you sit in sauna on your own ! Great experience! Staff member by the way never bothered to tell us until i asked him if that was a joke! When we asked about lockers he said they are all padlocked but he ll check if he has key. But there is no one so you can leave your things . We came with 2 phone lime most ppl probably would- when i asked if he can put my phone behind desk- yes no problem, if i am not here you just go and take your phone! Wow! Very secure!Off we went onto our welcome free drink experience. No one at the bar-ok not a problem, bar person was busy in his office.i asked for some bubbles not obviously Veuve Clicquot simple prosecco. No you cant have it , it s not on welcome drink list!!! My eyes and ears could mot believe it. So i said have you got sifferent rules from other Accorproperties? Cause where i stayed even in Europe it is on the list. Oh no in UK we dont! There i had to stop him! Was too much. So i had wine my partner has beer and we say there like what shall we do now?? “Manor house “ is in middle of mo where , so ok decided to brave little walk, check the car etc And surprise!!!! Car park very secure and that camera that is hanging off on the wall makes sure all is recorded. Dear “Manor house “ to say that we were not best pleased with our stay is say nothing
