I had to be checked in twice because the first one wasn't completed causing me to be locked out of my room. The front desk nearly refused to accept a bag that my previous hotel sent over to me via taxi. I had to get in the phone and beg then to accept it, leaving the tax refund love at the airport to rush back and pick it up.

Stay was due to 24 hour layover in CDG between flights. Hardest thing about it was finding the CDG VAL (free train that runs between the terminals). Once that hurdle was overcome it's only about 100m from the station. Easy check-in, the staff friendly and helpful. Room was bigger than I expected, comfortable and more than enough for a nights stay. Had dinner at the on site restaurant, very good though a little pricey, but i guess that's Paris. Certainly worth every penny though and the waiting staff were excellent. As for the bar, maybe it was only the night I stayed but there was a DJ playing which meant talking / relaxing at the bar was troublesome. No real problem but it seems at odds with the character they project for the bar. Overall very nice though and would stay again if I had another long layover.

I had to relax whilst transiting and booked the room for a half day, although I arrived late a room was available it was quiet, confortable and the receptionist was kind and helpful. Happy with the experience.

Checkin reception had an unfriendly and unwilling attitude. He was not willing to log in my Silver member status of Accor in the booking. After 4 attempts he did it against will. If clients are unhandy to your hospitality business then change business please. No food after 10.30pm other that 2 dishes that are of very poor quality and only room service. We are in the capital of France and one of the buisiest airports in the world... even Burger King or McDonalds is open 24h.... Checkout receptionist, no welcome or good morning, or how can I help you... she was only standing there with a very moody face and not caring about anything. The only 2 sentences said were: "what's your room number and the amount to pay", no "thank you"... very rude attitude. Staff: if you don't like your job please change. Managers: if you're unable to recruit and manage/train professional and pleasant staff in your hospitality business then please move on. Tourists and business people are having a little higher expectations (wilst remaining reasonible) in higher priced hotels, please align your staff and teams and do not think it's a given as client will simply avoid your establishment and made negative advertisement about you. Very poor experience, the overall stay + food costed 500 Euro without a "Hello or Thank you" and a..."Good bye or Hope to see back with us again".
