Extremely satisfied with my stay in the Ibis Kochi Hotel located in M G. Road. Very neat and clean room. Friendly staff especially the receptionist Ms.Diya who welcomed with a lovely smile and was very helpful in providing all the necessary information related to the room including helping me with connecting to the hotel WiFi network. The room has drinking water filled in glass bottles which is very good to see as mostly it's filled in plastic bottles elsewhere. Also, the water is fresh and good to drink. Breakfast buffet menu on both the days of my stay were sumptuous. Breakfast buffet had lot of options such as bread, cake, croissant, eggs, omlette, idly, dosa, appam, poha, roti, mixed veg curry, vada, pakoda, juices, corn flakes, tea and coffee. The reception had games as well for kids like foosball which is lovely to see as it wouldn't bore the kid while parents or adults are busy with the paper formalities in the reception during check-in or checkout. Highly recommended hotel to stay when you are travelling for solo, or family trip.

Horrible service

I tried calling two days in advance to request for early checkin but no one answered though I had shared a mail and mentioned the same request while booking the rooms. The staff are clearly confused themselves about rooms and prices and they tried to confuse us as well and I am sure didn’t offer us the best price for early checkin as by the time we actually got room it was only an hour left for normal checkin but since I had fever and was tired they took complete advantage of our situation. As typical Indian customer we asked for best price at least since we were getting rooms only an hour prior but we were lied at that point saying one of the room is premium which was not true. We had also made a request for smoking room but didn’t get that as well. All in all pathetic experience for the price I paid for my stay. I make yearly visits to Kochi and this was my second time staying in kochi ibis but for sure will never be coming again or will recommend anyone
