The overall stay was acceptable, but there were several service and room-related issues that affected the experience and, in my opinion, could have been avoided. I had specifically booked a Premier Room, but was initially allotted a Superior Room. I realised this only after settling in and then had to request that the room be changed to the category I had actually booked. The staff subsequently arranged the correct room, which I appreciate, but having to repack and shift rooms after check-in was an unnecessary inconvenience. There were also a few shortcomings in the room. The hair dryer was not functioning. Since we only discovered this shortly before checkout, we did not request a replacement. In addition, although the reservation was clearly for two adults, only one dental kit had been placed in the room. The minibar was completely empty. Even after requesting, there were no soft drinks or snacks available to stock it. As a result, when I wanted a simple soft drink late at night, I had to order juice through room service instead. For a hotel of this category, I felt the minibar arrangement could have been better. Wi-Fi access was straightforward for me because I already had my Accor account/app signed in. However, my accompanying guest was unable to connect without going through the process of registering an email address on the Accor page. Requiring a hotel guest to complete a separate registration process merely to access Wi-Fi felt unnecessarily cumbersome. The breakfast spread was also rather limited, and both the variety and taste could be improved. The breakfast on the second day was somewhat better, which was appreciated. Individually, these may appear to be relatively minor issues, but taken together they did affect the overall quality of the stay, especially considering the room category booked and the standards generally expected from an Accor property. I am sharing these comments as constructive feedback rather than as a complaint, and I hope these areas can be looked into so that the experience is smoother for future guests.

I stayed for 5 days with my family which include 11 month baby. The food which was given to baby through in room dining was spoiled once during the stay. The staff in restaurant always had a sad and rough faces, couldn't find any smile on them and they were least bothered to care about guest during buffet. I was totally fed up with the breakfast buffet and had to eat it as it was part of my booking. On the last day of of stay i had to have dinner here as my wife insisted, the dinner was horrible, the chicken biryani served had foul smell, I complained that it is spoiled and they checked and confirmed that and changed it, I had to eat few spoons of that spoiled biryani before I could find out. I would strongly recommend peeler to avoid eating here.

We had a great stay at Novotel Kochi. However, we had taken the half board package. Needed to say the meal which we chose was Dinner. The food was very spicy and found it very difficult for kids. Even the time taken at the restaurant for anything which we ask for at dinner was too much. Breakfast on the other hand was great and kids enjoyed. I would also like to see staff with a smile at the restaurant. Other than the dinner, the stay was great. Thanks once again.

Breakfast is good, but we did not enjoy the buffet dinner at all. Most of the main course dishes are Kerala-style, and the taste does not match North Indian preferences. We would suggest including more North Indian dishes in the menu.

This is my second stay in a year at Novotel Kochi Infopark, and I am deeply disappointed to see that nothing has improved except for a few isolated room updates. Staff behavior across the board has noticeably degraded, making it impossible to recommend this property for its customer service. The entire front-of-house and housekeeping staff seem completely uninterested in working, treating basic guest requests as a nuisance rather than a responsibility. Front desk personnel are blunt, unwelcoming, and indifferent, with the night-shift staff being particularly dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. Calling the front desk or lobby from guest rooms is frustratingly useless, as internal phones ring continuously without anyone picking up across the entire property. Dining and kitchen operations are equally mismanaged. The morning breakfast buffet suffers from zero management oversight during peak corporate event influxes, such as BNI groups. Empty food platters around 10:00 AM are simply left empty and never replenished. In-room dining options like upma are dull and tasteless, and careless kitchen errors occur, such as serving a Non-Veg Club Sandwich on brown bread without guest consent or request. Additionally, the main building structure shows clear signs of age and needs a property-wide aesthetic overhaul. The lobby has a severe evening mosquito issue, and single-staffed bar coverage leaves the counter completely unattended for 10 to 20 minutes at a time while staff fetch items from the kitchen. Apart from the newly added Smart TVs, updated charging plug points, and functioning room locks, nothing about the overall stay feels like a welcome upgrade. The only true bright spots remain the front security guards and the bar management. The security team provides the most authentic hospitality on site, remaining remarkably warm, polite, and welcoming throughout. At the bar, Mr. Amit (Assistant Manager – F&B) and Mr. Ronit (Barkeep) deserve high praise for exemplary, personalized service and seamless Accor Plus perk redemption. VERDICT: Book "Room Only", skip the breakfast buffet, order via Swiggy or Zomato, and set minimal expectations for staff interaction
