Mercure Hotel is very pleasant hotel, I can feel warm welcome from the staff when we arrived! The hotel is very convenient and walking distance to the water front, good spot for exercises, cycling in the morning and the local people are very friendly! Overall, The staffs are amazing! Stayed at Mercure for 3 nights and overall, we had a great experience. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The only downside was the massage at Naiad Wellness. Unfortunately, it wasn’t comfortable at all. Instead of feeling relaxed afterwards, my body felt even more sore. The massage bed was too hard, and the pillow felt like a block of wood. Other than the massage experience, the hotel was great. We’ll definitely be coming back — we’ll just skip the massage next time! 😊

Overall, my stay at Mercure Padang was quite good. The room met expectations which was spacious and comfortable. It would be even better if body lotion amenities were provided, as is common in most Mercure hotels. The breakfast selection was varied and enjoyable. However, room service tended to be quite slow. There was an instance when we ordered fritter snacks to be brought to our room, but the restaurant appeared to prioritize foreign guests even though we had arrived earlier. Although we were given complimentary fresh fruit, it would be best if this situation does not happen again in the future. Wishing continued success for Mercure Padang.
