Close to hospital and the centre of towns

Good location close to what I needed. Comfy bed. There was no recognition of Platinum Accor Plus Status, no upgrade, no welcome gift on the room. I had to ask at reception for information on the welcome drinks and if I was to receive and welcome gift. The person on reception was not very friendly on check-in really. No welcome to Mecure or anything. And on check out the same. Very matter of fact no friendliness etc. Had to ask for information on the Wifi as well as there was no information pack given to me on check in. The television in my room didn’t work and there was no in room phone to ring down to reception to get assistance. When I spoke to them the next morning, no apology or anything but we will get someone to fix it now was the reply. Which wasn’t super helpful as I was checking out after breakfast. The lady in the bar/restaurant was very lovely and gave assistance when I had no where to charge my phone. She charged it for me! Which was very nice. There are no easily accessible power sockets in the room and no alarm clock or charging ports and station for your phones so make sure you bring the wall adapter. No information in the room, no pen or notepad or anything like that. Breakfast was lovely and made to order. And dinner was also nice and reasonably priced. Overall it was an ok stay for my requirements. Just Doesn’t seem up to the usual mecure standard and I only received 67 points for staying there for one night which is an unusually small amount even though I charged everything back to the room.

Generally well presented. Comfortable beds. Aircon is in the wrong place and did not cool the room down well enough. Restaurant was clean and the food was well presented and nice.
