We loved our stay at the Molitor! The beds are very comfortable, the showers are large, and the water was so hot. We shared a suite with a king bed and an adjoining room with twin beds for our kids. They provide Clarin's spa amenities in the room and there is plenty of storage for bulky suitcases. My Drybar styling tools worked at this hotel, which has not been true for all of Europe. The breakfast was over the top with freshly squeezed orange juice and a juicer with celery, cucumbers, ginger, tumeric... Everyone was so friendly, especially Evita with Guest Services, who helped me book a last minute massage at the spa. She made our stay so enjoyable. Jade was my massage therapist and I was thoroughly relaxed and refreshed after my massage in their beautiful spa. We traveled in winter but I would return for the summer because the amenities for swimming and rooftop dining look incredibly inviting!

Prior to my trip I gave instructions and called twice to confirm: none of which were delivered either on time or at all. Restaurant was the biggest disappointment: I asked to cater to us for the Christmas lunch ( as we are vegetarian), we were offered ecrase de pommes de terre ( basically mashed potatoes) for the price of the Christmas menu. I called twice to confirm there would be the vegetarian menu but this information never hit the kitchen. Swimming pool and spa facilities are the dirtiest I have encountered. Very disappointed

Nice hotel but definitely not worth the price. CONS: The service is not up to a 5-star hotel standards. . Slow service: We also asked for cutleries to be sent to our room and had to call back the concierge because we were still waiting for them 15min after calling . Loud staff: during breakfast time, the hotel staff was speaking loudly and it was quite annoying . On the first evening, we found out that a technician mistakenly left a thermometer insider our AC/heating system. When someone came to pick it up, the person didn’t apologise for the inconvenience and didn’t even try to explain why it was left here PROS: . The hotel’s unique legacy and cultural heritage, which is the reason we came here at the first place. . The breakfast provides a wide selection of healthy and really fresh dishes Overall, an “ok” hotel that is not worth the price. You feel like their 5 stars were only given because of the hotel’s unique history.
