We had a good 3-day stay at this Ibis. It is quite typical of an Ibis hotel with a well laid-out room and nice bathroom. The menu in the restaurant is good but the service is not the best. We also had several situations where there were miscommunications with hotel staff.

I had a layover in Yerevan after a long and tiring night flight, with an early morning flight the next day. At 2:00 AM, someone from the staff tried to enter my room while I was sleeping. The door was locked, so they couldn’t get in, but about five minutes later, they returned and opened it while I was still asleep. I was shocked and couldn’t get any rest, which was all I needed after such a long journey. The lady at reception explained that it was a cleaning staff member who accidentally mixed up the rooms. Honestly, I don’t understand this who does cleaning at 2:00 AM? She was moving back and forth loudly and shutting doors, making it impossible to sleep. Furthermore, I don’t understand how she didn’t realize someone was inside after failing to open the door with the magnet key, and then using a master key to enter a room that can only be locked from the inside. The receptionist suggested offering me tea as a remedy. I don’t understand how tea could replace the decent sleep I missed. This experience was extremely disturbing, and I will never stay at your hotel again.

My stay at Ibis Yerevan Center was truly exceptional. The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of city center, making it incredibly easy to walk to all the major attractions, restaurants, and public places. Beyond the location, the staff was truly polite. From the moment I checked in to the final goodbye, every interaction was met with professionalism and warmth. The lack of a tea maker, water refills, paper towels, and minimal hotel amenities made this a disappointing experience.
