3 star hotel with 3 star service that will rip you off for a partial tower view for EUR 1000/night suite...

We decided to try staying at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel since we had some classes to take at the nearby Le Cordon Bleu thinking it could be an experience staying so close to the beautiful tower. Booked the JUNIOR SUITE 1 king-size bed, 1 double sofa bed, Eiffel Tower view for basically 1000 EUR a night and this was the biggest scam. Yes, it's Olympics summer and we expect rip offs. This is one of them. If you get their cheaper rooms, perhaps this location will work out for you. If you prepay like I did for a Tower view suite, you will be in for a disappointment. To get the view you think you would get at this price point, you basically have to be on the highest floor, 10-11th floor. I was on the 9th and looked straight into the balconies of an apartment building in front of me. Only at a diagonal angle from the bedroom window can you see the tower. It is very misleading to label this room category as "Eiffle Tower view" and charge this price. The room was clean, however, the decor and feel of the room is very cold, bland, and almost feels like a cheap motel. The worst part of the experience was the laundry service. We gave our laundry before the 9;30am deadline so we can get it back the same evening... However, this never showed up that night or the next day. 2 days later, I call about it only to be met by a yapper on the phone telling me I need to come down to the lobby to pay for it to get it as they don't have my credit card on file due to a system change in their internal computer system. I argued against this and demanded my laundry, but they refused and kept telling me to pay for it first. They said they had others run off without paying, so therefore I am to be accused of potentially doing the same, therefore I must go pay at the front desk. The staff over the phone were extremely rude and idiotic. I told them the laundry was supposed to come back 2 days ago, hence they shouldn't charge me 90 EUR, but a discount, but again, this was met by a complete refusal. The manager refused to even come talk to me directly, but kept sending over their young staff who were mere messengers. Shame on them for acting like such unprofessionals. I paid the 90 EUR for a laundry that came 2 days later. My driver told me to be very careful at this hotel as they often have pickpocketing incidents in the hotel lobby as well. Great proximity to the Eiffle Tower for sure, but if you can avoid it, you can find much better options in the neighborhood.

Satisfactory stay with a good size room and great location. You’ll get what you paid for without much in the way of extras as they’re always busy.

Very loud - people/kids were either shrieking and running up and down the hall each night and slamming doors/windows both between 1-4 am. Room was also conjoining which was not requested and makes me feel very unsafe. Paid for Eiffel Tower view and was stuck on the side wing with no balcony. Multiple things in the room did not work (fridge, espresso machine). I left a note but nothing got resolved. I had connected with the front desk to schedule a taxi to the airport and apparently I requested through the concierge who did not inform me she did not work for the hotel so when I had a question about the booking the hotel informed me they could not help me. To top of off the “cab” I paid for was not even a real cab and she could not help me with my luggage and I felt extremely unsafe.

Amazing room, great service
