Stayed for 4 nights to do some sightseeing - easy walking distance to Alexanderplatz and Unter den Linden, but also very handy for UBahn and the tram.

The people behind the desk were all very customer friendly, and we felt really welcome which was great! The room itself was a bit of a letdown, although the price was pretty good. The hotel is in a great spot. I booked the room with 1 queen size bed. Downsides: The shape of the room caused you to have very little room to walk and i have blue knees from banging them against the bedframe repeatedly. Our room was on the first floor and the Frittenwerk at the ground floor starts doing something with loads of garlic in the morning, so by 9 (?) the whole room smelled like garlic. Positives: Everything including the room was very clean which is great! We had a great view of Rosenthaler Platz from our panaroma window, the U-Bahn is literally next door to the hotel, there's loads of nice little restaurants and places nearby and the price we paid was pretty reasonable.

It is so great to stay at the hotel because of the attitude and help from the staff. It is so helpful for travellers to a new place not knowing much of the language and locations of sightseeing and museums etc. We got very timely help from Lorena when we tried to book the tickets to the Spy Museum. We also got help when we found out that we wanted to extend a night but with no room available. She is so patient and did all her best to find a hotel under your group with reasonable price and found ot the location and printed all the details such as what bus to take , where to take etc etc. We love IBIS and very happy to become a member of your group. Many thanks.
