Overall we had poor experience at this hotel . Check in was just fine . No any upgrades despite being gold member / all Accor explorer member . I don’t expect upgrade but atleast a decent room would have been fine . One of their restaurant staff was rude . Not understanding language and response was rude got even simple question . It is unfair for being a 4 star restaurant they have same breakfast and dinner option with very very minor change of one main course in dinner . If you are expecting to stay more than 2 days , mark my words you will feel utterly bored with their food choice . As a part of explorer member , I was given welcome kit of fresh fruits . We arrived at 8 pm when we woke in the morning they hand fungus in grapes . After informing the receptionist they just removed the fungal grape and kept the rest . Not a choice of hotel for my next visit .

Hotel was well-located near Ao Nang Beach and Krabi Walking Street, in proximity to various restaurants, cafes and pubs. Room was basic but clean. Hotel front desk staff were knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. Hotwl breakfast was adequate, but not luxurious. Would have rated 10/10 if the provided towels could be newer. To clarify, the towels were well-washed and clean without malodour, but they were also greying from use and were fraying at the ends.

Basic hotel but very good location

The location is great, Hotel is basic. Our stay was for only 1 night here. The room size is small but very thoughtfully designed, had dedicated space for all the essentials. We got great weather here, it was all very cloudy and rainy. There’s a huge mountain at the back of the hotel, which looked stunning with clouds over it. We had 2 of the mountain and pool facing rooms, next to each other and 1 room was the Masjid facing. The best part here was the view and the pool side Massage, it was really really good. On a rainy day when we couldn’t step out, we enjoyed the massage without any walls around us and with the sound of the rain, it was really really good. The buffet is very basic, we got late but didn’t miss much. There are a lot of beautiful cafe’s and eateries at walkable distance, we had a great time there. The Hotel’s proximity is also good to enjoy the night market and the Beach Club’s. It’s a very short ride to any place, mostly are walking though. No complaints about the hygiene, sleep quality or the staff.

This hotel is satisfactory for a stay up to 4 nights. After that the very cramped room and lack of storage, wardrobe and general space would be a serious problem. For example, I could not operate the light switch from the bed without knocking the telephone receiver off its hook, the kettle tray only just fitted but power outlet space was not enough for kettle and phone charger and there was only adequate space for 1 suitcase. The small room and tight layout should be made more clear in the publicity, just stating “square metres” does not help. Also, my room was noisy. The proximity to the lift meant that people noise in the corridor was disturbing, especially in the evening and early morning. A “please be quiet” sign might help. We should also have been warned about the fire alarm test. When the alarm started people began leaving their rooms and there was confusion. We should also have been warned about the regular early morning amplified shouting from the mosque. This was an unwelcome disruption. The restaurant breakfast food offering was very good and the staff are to be congratulated. Apart from the loud wailing from the nearby religious building the hotel is well located and the food and staff are good. But the management should make the noise, cramped room layout, lack of storage and lack of charger sockets much clearer in the hotel’s web site description.
