I moved to the Grand Mercier Hanoi after another hotel I booked was not what I expected. I was so relieved to be met with clean, comfortable, new, well kept rooms and polished service. The location is perfect - a five minute drive from the city so still in the thick of it, but just far enough that you get some reprieve when you retire for the night. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone I know who’s visiting Taipei.
