Chef Kuldeep and his team prepared special food for me and my family as per our taste preferences. He is a Super Chef and takes ultimate care of the guests taste and liking specifically. Rajkumar did all the efforts to make our stay special. Great Hospitality. Ultimate service and care. Will definitely visit again.

Bad Service and a complete 2 star “Janta” hotel.

I was thoroughly disappointed to see such a bad service from a hotel that boasts itself as a 5 star property near Juhu. Believe me, initially I was super excited to stay at Novotel but right from the beginning as I entered the hotel I was taken aback by the low service standard 1) I was asked to wait for 2 min for the room to be prepared since I was a bit early. Initially I thought that the hotel staff will have the courtesy to come up to me and inform me about the room after 5 min but I waited for a good 30 min and then decided to check again. I was again asked to wait for 2 min and the cycle continued. 2) Finally I got a room assigned after continuous follow up. 3) The hotel was full with crowd / sales representatives / school college kids who all had come over to visit the beach. As a result the elevators were all jammed. 4) The room card kept on getting discharged every day (and btw I made sure that it was kept separately and not with my mobile phones) 5) The bathroom was filthy and it seems the sewage from upper floor continued to fill my bathroom continuously. I complained but no one ever came to check 6) in spite of putting a do not disturb mark on the door , the hotel staff continued to knock on doors continuously to check for something that was not urgent 7) The hotel bathroom had just 1 towel - no separate towel for bath and hand towel Overall experience was one of the worst I have had in recent times and I would never ever stay in Novotel hotel. I would also ask my company not to book such hotels in future.

Horrible reservation team. If you travel with a child then consider JW Marriott. They are inconsiderate,insensitive. I am stuck as I did a booking with a non refundable clause thinking other Novotels across the world are fine.. but Mumbai Novotel reservation manager had 0 empathy. I have no choice to pay additional charges for additional 4 hrs and yet there was 0 consideration to even look after for breakfast. Please never ever consider Novotel Mumbai

I am a member of Accor hotels as part of my membership I got a free one night stay. Now I have never stayed with any accor properties but my father has who also has a membership. I booked this stay to spend time with my husband and daughter in the hopes we had a restful weekend. The check in was fine. I had requested for a ocean view room and was promised the same. I also asked about breakfast was told I would get 50%off. The front desk staff also informed me that my booking was for twin bed city view but i got a upgrade for a ocean view king bed. Now no discussion of payment or the amount I was made to understand this is all part of the complimentary stay. I remember I had selected breakfast but was told it's not a part of my package and I could got to the restaurant and inquire about pricing. We entered the room and unfortunately the view was aof building and streets.. And one corner had the sea. Not the best view.. Especially when you are promised one. I called the front desk and when I asked for a room change the response from the staff was 'What Happened? ' which in itself was annoying to hear. Anyway I explained the reason and was told they would call back.. Waited 15 mins nothing. So called again, was told would check and called back again. Again nothing. My husband called a third time same story. The 4th time I refused to hang up. And after keeping me on hold for a short while was told all rooms booked the hotel is sold out. Just seemed to me that nobody wanted to bother offering me a new room since I am complimentary?? They never said it but the behaviour implied it. Anyway we decided to make do and went down so my daughter could use the pool. We were given welcome drinks vouchers and we wanted to enjoy it in the room do i enquired with one staff who said no you have to drink it only at the bar. So i went to the bar who informed me we could have it in the room just dial 0. So we go up after a while and i dial 0 and j am told no you have to go to the restaurant. I was livid at this point so I asked for a manager and was told would call back. Get a call back and no manager but said they will offer me drinks in the room. When I enquire what all can I order am told that since I am not in the restaurant there is a limitation to what I could order. Fine with me since our daughter wanted to watch a movie. The next morning we went for breakfast. And as we were leaving I asked about the payment and was told they will bring me the bill. They take a pic of my membership etc. Asked for no of pac, age of my daughter etc. Another staff member walks a little later and says oh your breakfast is part of your package. And then she and another staff member were arguing. Finally we were told no payment required. Before we decided to check out I called guest services to ask if I had any dues to clear because we needed to pick up my parents at the airport and if there were then I would go down early. But they said no nothing. So we leave accordingly. I had to wait in line which I am ok with since others wanted to checkout to. When it was my turn, guess what a shock it was to see a bill for almost 4000. Especially since no one even once mentioned any payment and also I asked but was told nothing. The front desk staff then mentions that it's part of the upgrade I selected. In that bill there is 500 upsell charge. What upsell and who sold me what.. 2900 for the room booking and of course gst. Am then told the 2900 also includes breakfast. What changed between check in and check out time. I seemed to have got different information. And when I asked for explanation everyone seems baffled another staff who I presume is a senior staff member is clacking away at the screen but not saying a word. The two of them are whispering to each other. Again no word to me. Mind you we have to get to the airport and I am waiting. Finally after sheer frustration I paid the bill and left.. We were 45 mins late to pick up my elderly parents. What a terrible experience. No accountability, no understanding of services, no understanding of client satisfaction and exp. We hear stories of what great hotels and resorts too simple small things that make the whole exp great. But here at every turn it was more and more disappointing. At breakfast the chef was firing the staff in front of other guests how shameful. And utterly disappointing when standing at the check out line staff and guest arguing about damage in one of the rooms. Could have been handled more discreetly. But it was wide in the open. If I do not get a great wow experience with a resort in a free stay why would I ever spend money???? Needless to say I will not be renewing my membership nor have any desire to stay at any of your properties. Oh last word please change your carpets. They are so stained and it looks terrible
