The rooms are clean and good looking. Smells fresh at check in (non smokin room). You can find everything you need in the room but it does not feel cramped, even though the area was not much. The A/C worked very well, considering we slept two people in a relatively small room. Both the check in and check out procedures went flawlessly. The only thing concerned me about this stay was, that I forgot my sunglasses in my room and no one contacted me about this during the day. Even though the cleaners went through the room, I could only find out that I forgot the glasses in the hotel after I went to the hotel myself. And before that I had to call every place I went that day to find out where my sunglasses were. I called the hotel as well, but for some reason I could not reach reception to ask. So I had to cancel some of my plans to go all the way back to the hotel to ask about them. Is it a big deal? Maybe not. But I can't help but think, if I have not asked, would they contact me about my glasses, or would it be a case of finders keepers... All in all, I had a good stay. I can't really complain. But that one little thing was enough to make the stay "not perfect".

Average quality but good beds. The receptionist did not mention that the breakfast was not included but he asked for it on the check out! The floor of the room was not clean and there was wisp of hair on the ground.

Weekend runaway to Gaziantep

We did not spend much time at the hotel and that was the reason we were checking for a low cost hotel in Gaziantep. As we did not have high expectations for a 3 star hotel, it was really fine. Location is good, staff is friendly enough. The aspects I did not like was regardless the double bed room we booked, it turned out to be twin beds joined as a double bed. Because it was very late hour and we were tired after the trip, we did not request for a room change, also we stayed another night at the same room for the same reason. Another fact I did not like was that the receptionist did not ask whether we wanted smoking or non smoking room, and when I told we want a non smoking room, the receptionist told us there was no request noticed in the reservation (we made through Agoda). Nevertheless, Yunus Bey (as far as I remember, night receptionist) had found us one non smoking room. After check out there was a storage room to leave your baggage which was free of charge. Havaş airport shuttle is crossing by the hotel while going to the airport (unfortunately, it does not drop you off from the airport to the hotel). We did not take breakfast as we wanted to try many foods of Gaziantep, but the dining area looked simply decorated and clean. As a person who is working at the hotels business, I would recommend Ibis Gaziantep hotel to my friends and family - for good location and basic travelllers' needs.

I have been staying here last two - three years and happy with it. easy to reach. close to the old city and a shopping centre nearby, safe and convenient. I would like to see more of the delicious Gaziantep food for breakfast. There are some but there can be more. Not to forget the inherent Gaziantep culture engrained in the pleasant personality of every Gaziantep person. Good to see more of the hospitality, kindness and welcoming attitude. Toilets and towels sometimes dirty, housekeeping while cleaning trows away the receipts needed. Not educated enough. The receiption staff is very polite unless they are not shifted from the partner Nova Hotel.

Your receptionist was very friendly and nice. The room was clean. Breakfast was great. They even gave us freshly squeezed orange juice. Lovely. We had pizza at night. Service was fast and the pizza was delicious. We had a satisfying experience.

I had a bad experience with your hotel due to staff attitude (mostly): - They dont speak English and it's a shame for such an Accor brand hotel. - They dont have the friendly attitude or even a little smile on the face. - They dont accept my $ and they forced me to pay by VISA. - No welcome drink (I'm a silver member). - No late checkout (I'm a silver member). - A bad check in while I already did it through the iPhone app. I was comparing my stays in ibis Bahrain and Gaziantep and its a big difference in the whole experience. Not recommending it at all, that's why I left to another hotel and stays there 12 days cause the atmosphere in ibis is not as expected.
