If it wasn't for the ongoing construction in the hotel, with noisy drilling & hammering, this would have been a "10" rating. Room is very comfortable, staff super friendly, well equipped gym and outstanding restaurant!

I would not recommend this place to anyone 1. The ongoing contruction works that makes endless noise in the morning. You cannot rest or work in peace at this hotel 2. My colleague and I got sick with the food more than once. Another colleague from Geneva who came last year had the same experience and had warned us but we didn’t believe and experienced it too. 3. Water problems with no honest feedback from staff.

No drinks in the fridge anymore to allow you to buy. No coffee for free (the small bags of nescafé), only two bags of tea and some sugar. No little soap on the sink, only 1 towel available. No menu card on the table, and the QR code is not even shared everywhere for thz customers to see.(other IBIS hotel has it in the lift which is very useful). Breakfast is functional but no variety (a bit tired of eating the exact same thing everyday.) Dinner is fine though, tasty and nice portion, dessert is good. Dricks (cocktails, macha latte, gluwein were awesome). Staff is friendly but the breakfast staff outnumbers customers: they are everywhere talking loud, watching every single move (as a custimer I prefer eating peacefully, with a discreet waiter here and then). Here in Ibis Ankorondrano, there are more than 10 staff members going back and forth from the kitchen, around the buffet, some sweeping the floor, blocking thz way sometimes.
