Ibis budget is very basic. There is no socket near the bed, that's inconvenient, otherwise it's fine. I don't get this separate toilet and shower, and an open sink in the room; I was on my own so it was ok, but if I stayed with someone it would bother me. The bed was comfortable.

Decent place with good parking

Stayed here for one night in August 2025. Pros: 1) The place is easy into and out and you don't have to deal with the city traffic. 2) The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. 3) The WIFI was free with good speed and connectivity. 4) The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. 5) There is a large open car park next to the hotel. So parking spots are plenty. 6) The place is quiet at night and the sleep quality is great. 7) The tariff is cheap. Cons: 1) The place is far from the Oviedo Cathedral area. It is a 30 minute walk each way. 2) The room and bathrooms are positively tiny. There is hardly any space to move around or keep your things. 3) There is not many places to eat close to the hotel.

Worst Wi-Fi ever in a hotel

The wi-fi, such as it is, constantly cuts out and takes forever to reconnect. The peculiarity of the room layout is exceeded only by the peculiarity of the location. I have visited Oviedo dozens of times, and had never been to that part of town. I discovered there was a very good reason for this: I have never needed a car repaired. If you have a car, it's fine, and there is ample parking. If not, it's a LONG walk to anywhere you might want to go. That said, my usual complaints - lack of soundproofing and too-mushy beds - are not issues here. The bed was excellent, as was the soundproofing between rooms and hallway. The hotel staff is cheerful and energetic...and young. The whole experience felt much more like staying in a youth hostel than an actual hotel.
