Long walk to room at end of long second-floor corridor with lift out of action. Breakfast not a good as at our last visit.

Nice hotel, we had a lovely room in new wing, spacious and included mini fridge, safe plus dressing gowns and slippers. Very good selection of hot and cold buffet style breakfast in restaurant but food at night unmemorable. Restaurant was chilly and lacked ambiance.

This hotel needs serious work. There are works going on but they should really have closed the hotel whilst doing them as my room was really not up to standard Firstly, the lift was out of order and when my colleague asked to have her bags taken to the 3rd floor she was told it would be &5 per bag! The lift was out of order and so was this My room - air conditioning didn’t work and room was hot. They did provide a fan which was nearly falling over due to faulty stand. The windows were rotting, secondary windows didn’t close properly. No bedside light without switching on all lights Breakfast wasn’t great either - all 2 star standard All just poor

Dear Larry, I am sorry that there were aspects of your stay that lead to some disappointment. Unfortunately the passenger lift in the main building had to have a repair completed and we actioned this as soon as we were aware of the issue, and this was completed after being out of service for a week once lift company were able to source and fit a new part. I believe there was a misunderstanding in regard to the transportation of luggage, and I apologise for that. I would have very much welcomed the opportunity to discuss your feedback in person at some point during your visit. Kind regards Jason General Manager
