Overall good. Breakfast was great. Just a little cold in the bedroom, could not increase heating. Pillows too firm, should have a duck down option.
A great stat

We booked two rooms with breakfast for one night. Staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful - we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of hot and cold items..
Disgusted that I’ve put in a complaint to Rochelle to no response

Hello, I stayed at your hotel on Monday 12th October with a Groupon voucher. We booked a privilege room but were not given any of the things we were supposed to (nespresso machine, water / mini fridge, robes, slippers etc). We went to reception and asked Quiddy (who was very lovely, as was the other girl that worked there) and she said that unfortunately the team couldn’t get the coffee machine etc to us until the morning as they had gone home. We then spoke to Rochelle, who said she would send an email and CC me in, so that we can get a refund. She also said we could talk about it with her in the morning. I didn’t receive any emails at all that evening and still haven’t since. We went to the office again in the morning and Rochelle wasn’t there as she had apparently changed to the evening shift. We had to spend part of our stay standing at the reception trying to sort out all of this out, and as you can imagine this really dampened our stay. You have good reviews on tripadvisor and I didn’t expect this at all. Thanks Georgia
Noisy but central

We paid for a privilege room which unfortunately for us was at the front of the hotel. The noise from the busy main road was bad and kept us awake till 4am. Then at 8am workmen started drilling below our room. They might as well have been in the room. The reception staff were lovely and embarrassed but for the cost of the hotel I would not expect this.
Nice hotel, a few small issues

A nice hotel in a good location for our first stay in Oxford. A few issues, toilet was continually streaming water from the cistern until we were shown how to wiggle the buttons. Hot water ran out on both mornings we stayed. Breakfast was good quality but luke warm. It would have been nice to know we had booked in on the day of the Oxford 1/2 marathon before we tried to drive in! Overall, a solid 7/10 let down by these issues especially after paying £50 for an upgraded room.
