We stayed 2 nights in a Premium double. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The mini fridge was very useful and the beverage tray was well stocked. The food in the Bar was really good, especially the Char Siu Boa Buns! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the hotel, especially in the Bar. Would we stay again? Yes

Exceptional value for money , we booked through secret escapes, on arrival used the spa facilities which were very good and clean. Room was in main part of hotel, very spacious and comfortable, just the right temperature too. ( just needed few high cobwebs on light fitting attending too but this was very high up,) Menu was very limited , personally I enjoy vegetables with my meals and there were non really served which I found odd as I’m not a big potato eater, with hindsight would have asked for something off bar menu as food served was also extremely salty. ( may just be our opinion) Desert was delicious as was the homemade breads served prior to starters. Breakfast was well organised and delicious and the restaurant setting has a lovely ambience both evening time and morning, Would definitely return as we had a lovely relaxing Sunday

Hot water kept losing pressure and regaining it, which I complained about on my first morning of the stay. Was told somebody would come to fix it. Nothing was done. When I checked out, I mentioned about the shower to the same member of staff on reception. I was told she couldn't refund anything but the managers would be in touch to talk about this and maybe offer a refund. I have had no contact in over a week. Also, only two of the four bathroom spotlights worked, and both single-paned windows were ill fitting, and one could not be secured in an open position. The floors creaked extremely loudly which must have disturbed the residents below.

On arrival we were given a room that’s wasn’t made up so start not great . Room wasn’t pleasant so glad we got another one which was much better . Hotel very tired in parts , could do with painting in many areas . Also no need for heating to be on like it was , far too hot all through the day and night .
