Check-in took too long. I was a platinum member and I felt I should take priority. there was another staff on duty not doing much but just standing around. Room was good. However, I would have preferred to have all amenities kit already present rather than having to call housekeeping for them.

Was staying at this property on transit. Arrived at almost midnight and had to leave by 6am. The hotel has a policy to ring for amenities. AFter an exhaustive travel, it would be nice to have items like slippers, toothbrush, etc ready in the room rather than having to ring for them. My welcome drink was close to non-redeemable with the hours I had at the hotel.

I had booked two rooms (room # 710 and 711). AC for room 711 was not working. Very limited towels in the room and we had to keep calling house keeping for basic requirements I.e - towers, prayer mat, water and room slippers. We expect this to be part of the room at the very start. At breakfast, I was told we only have allowance for 1 person per room for bfast. This is surprising as I had provided all passports at check in.

Generally good experience except for the toilet wash basin sink that was a little chocked and water was flowing down very slowly. Also, slippers were not provided and I had to ask the lady at the front desk before I got one. Otherwise, all good.

I had a very bad experience yesterday at Novotel Al bustan Hotel during my stay There was a renovation going on at same floor in the room that was close to mine room#1215 Why did the receptionist locate me in this room & you are aware of the renovation and even she didn’t inform me about it I was a big shock when I was trying to sleep and heard that big noise I called the reception and informed them to stop this noise for only one hour then I called again after 15 min because nothing happened and noist still there They told me that some work is going on and it will be remain for 6 hours , they were very cool like nothing wrong is going on Finally I decided to leave the hotel with such bad experience because nobody was willing to help ! Very inefficient check-in process every time I stay - it should not take 20 minutes!

Very inefficient check-in process. I booked 6 months before so you had plenty of notice I was arriving. Key issues: No non-smoking rooms available. Was 'upgraded' to an apartment which was a ten minute walk in a separate hotel next door - it was definitely not an upgrade. Went through the whole check-in process and then the lady realised my details were contained in a separate, printed document which meant we had to start again. Did not know whether breakfast was included - eventually decided not so I agreed to pay extra upfront. This was then not taken from my card so I was called back when I was on my way to the lift to pay (again). Check-out not much better - could not seem to work out whether I had paid upfront or not and breakfast was also not included on the emailed invoice, even though this had been promised. This will cause problems with my expenses claim. A colleague who was travelling with me got to his room and went to bed (as it was after 10pm and we'd been on the go all day) - he we then woken up when reception phoned after 10.30pm to ask a question about his bill! Training and check-in/check-ot processes clearly need to be improved!

Food 4/10 Car parking staff 5/10 Reception staff 8/10 In overall 6/10 It was my first time in Novotel breakfast was below average for a nice looking hotel , reception staff the Asian lady I forgot her name so friendly and helpful, however the first day I came there was one Indian young guy was friendly but made me make a mistake in reservation I reserve cheaper price throw Accor app then realize its for next day which he didn’t tell me causing me paying more in general reception staff are very good and friendly anyhow , car parking staff will I’ll just say they were 5/10 kinda felt they were a little aggressive , in overall the hotel is very clean and neat
