We are pleased to read that you appreciated the cleanliness of your room, the quality of our services during check-in and check-out, as well as the professionalism of our team in several aspects of your stay. At the same time, we are very sorry to learn that the room temperature did not meet your expectations and that this affected your overall comfort. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. We would like to clarify that all rooms at Mercure Siracusa Prometeo are equipped with an in-room climate control system that allows guests to independently set their preferred temperature via the room control panel. The system is designed to ensure individual comfort and flexibility. In addition, the hotel has recently installed a brand-new, state-of-the-art, high-efficiency climate control system throughout the entire property, designed to guarantee optimal performance in all areas, including guest rooms. We also wish to highlight that, for energy efficiency and safety reasons, the air conditioning system is automatically regulated by sensors linked to the room windows. When a window is open, the system temporarily pauses operation to ensure proper functioning and sustainability. We are very sorry if this was not clearly communicated or if any technical issues occurred during your stay. Had we been made aware of the situation in more detail at the time, our team would have done everything possible to intervene promptly and provide an immediate solution, as guest comfort is always our top priority. Your comments regarding responsiveness have been noted carefully and shared with our management team, as they are essential for improving our service standards.
