Keep this feedback private. Our stay at Mercure was average. The hotel room standards seems to have fallen considerably from my travels 4 years back. Damaged walls with unprofessional putty filling making it look ugly, bathroom doors changed to sliding door which lacks privacy as it cant be locked, bathroom condition was average as hotel hasn't been maintained much to keep it to a high rating if compared to 4 years ago. Breakfast didnt had much option either. Staffs did not know if the breakfast menu had any vegan friendly or halal friendly options. Everything shows contamination across veg and non vegetarian selections.

We were very pleased with the mercure. The food and bar service was excellent, the buffet was well presented and very delicious. The security out front were always making sure we had transport organized. This hotel definitely runs on Fiji time as our check in time was late. The room was clean. Would recommend to others, however keep in mind fiji time.

I arrived with my family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children) and found our room was two queen beds, which did not accomodate our group number. We had to have a child sleep on one of the benches in the room and another one pushed two chairs together to make a bed. We had been given 2 towels, despite there being 6 people on the booking. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and the sheets on the beds had stains. The room was very dated and the furniture had seen better days. The pool and the breakfast included were the only things that made the stay bearable. If you’re just needing a bed to sleep on before your flight the next morning, this hotel is sufficient. But I won’t be staying here again.

Upon checking out on Monday morning, I requested for a porter to get our luggage from room 222 located upstairs to the reception area as there is no lifts in this hotel. Unfortunately, the lazy Fijian culture was evident as no one bothered. Repeatedly, I was told someone will be there but eventually I had to get my luggage to the reception. Drama unfolded when the male receptionist told cab is on the way but after waiting for 15 minutes, no cab was visible so I walked out of the reception area & a taxi was parked outside on the road. The driver waved at me asking if I needed a taxi, I told him yes & that is when the male receptionist got wild & started shouting at me right in front of my kids. Even my wife was shaken by the rude & unprofessionalism of this male receptionist. I know, no action will be taken as it was all prepaid & now, we are back home. Shame on management on having such rude, unprofessional & lazy staff. Certainly needs anger management courses.

The Mercure staff were friendly and very welcoming both times we stayed. They had a decent selection of foods for breakfast and it is located close to the airport, making it convenient to get to/from. The first room we stayed in was quite comfortable and spacious and reflected the price we paid. But the room we stayed in the second time, was in need of an update. The shower head was broken, the bathroom seemed small and run down, and the beds were not as comfortable.

Mercure Nadi is well located as it is close to some supermarkets and restaurants. Staff are friendly and professional especially Shaniya at the egg station who smiles when serving guests. Liti and Esther from the tour desk were so helpful in booking our tours. The only downside is the rooms need renovation especially the bathroom floor.

You charged for cab to Raddison $50 for myself and my sister who also stayed was charged $35. How do you explained this service.and cab driver was not all with us. I also did a cab from Raddison blu to Nadi town and was charged $19. Stayed 3 times in the last 3 months and very disappointed as a member.

The hotel works well as a technical stop between the airport and an island stay, but it definitely feels tired and somewhat from another era — not quite what we imagined from a Mercure hotel. On the positive side, our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the upgrade. Just for information: there is no elevator, which may be relevant if travelling with heavy luggage. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with the complimentary shuttle from the marina. We specifically asked the driver if he was going to Mercure, and he confirmed yes, but we were not dropped at the hotel and ended up near the airport. There was no apology or attempt to help us get back; we were simply told to take a taxi, only paid by cash, what we did not have, so another stress and challenge. This cost us about an hour and unnecessary frustration. Overall: perfectly adequate for a short, practical overnight stay, but the property could use some refreshing and the shuttle service definitely needs improvement.
