The hotel is seriously in need of a compete refurbishment. It is old, it smells and there are dead cockroaches on on the floor...

The room was extremely small, very dated and with virtually no natural light. Not at all what I expect from an Accor property.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in

This place is falling apart. The room was terrible, dark and uncomfortable, the windows were blind, the bathroom door didn't close, the bathroom was tiny, the "breakfast" didn't deserve that name, the coffee was disgusting. The staff was good, polite and helpful. I feel sorry for them to have to work in a place like this. I was glad when I was leaving this dump.

Best thing? It is nearly opposite the convention centre - so very easy access. Good hot water for shower. Sadly they have a lot to do. It was hot in Adelaide - walked into the room and it was hoit and stuffy. My alarm bells went off when I saw a pedestal fan near the bed. I looked - the only 'air con was a switch on the wall to go from low to high fan. I flicked to high. No difference. I thought no problems - I will open window. The curatins hid windows that were sealed shut and had frosting over them, Peering through the edge of the frosting it was some little enclave with lots of pigeons that woke me up each day (others were complaining about this too). They were fully booked so could not change rooms, and their comment was we can send yo ua fan - I said I had one. I put some water in the bar fridge to cool to make my shake the next morning. It froze solid. (Maybe I should have left the door open to cool the room.) Access to the bathroom was through a narrow door and up a step. After a knee replacement this was a little alarming. My side of the bed was comfortable. When I sat on the side near the fridge the mattress was very soft and floppy. The desk was good so I could work, but no arm chair or anythign other than the bed and desk.
