When we arrived I was informed that a $50 bond would be held for 3 to 5 days. When I checked my bank upon leaving, you actually held $150 ! I was very cross and rang for clarification - I was told it was a GLITCH. I actually only book through any hotels own website because all of the booking websites use this practice, which I think it is a scam/poor practice with money that is not theirs. We were in Adelaide for several days - I am a pensioner and the account the money was held by this GLITCH was my only money for the weekend, Cheers for really ruining my weekend. The money was released on the following Friday. 7 DAYS later. I will now be only staying at caravan parks as they don't do this fraudulent practice.

I found the room clean & comfortable upon arrival, but was disappointed that there was no complimentary water available, especially considering it was a 43 degree day. Upon returning to the room Saturday night, found a large cockroach in the fridge cupboard!!!! The air-conditioning in the bedroom part of the room didn't appear to be cooling the room & had to have the pedestal fan on high, close to the bed to get any coolness. I was also disappointed that the juices available for breakfast were not chilled, they were room temperature & were not at all nice. There were also a number of tables that had not been cleared & left limited tables available to sit at for breakfast.

Cons: The room was like a prison. Windows up top that you can’t look out. Stained carpet, tv needs updating as it doesn’t have all the free to air channels. One of the light switches didn’t work. Was told there is a $200 hold on my card for security. They actually held $362 and it took 9 days to get back. Pros: beds are super comfy, great night sleep, air con was great. Bathroom was clean. Close to trams, shops, casino, brilliant location. Knowing the cons I would stay again if needed. So I guess that’s a plus for the hotel.
