Updating this review to reflect the effort that was made to address a very unfortunate situation. Our first night at the hotel there was a shattered glass door that forced us to relocate rooms. There was not a similarly sized room available at the time so we were moved to a smaller room for that evening. The following day they were able to move us to a very nice suite that was more than adequate for our family. The suite was good, the service was good and we were provided complimentary breakfast as well as an adjustment to our bill to compensate for the inconvenience. The hotel itself is very nice and located perfectly for traveling to/from Munich as it is adjacent to the main train station and a very short walk into town if you don't want to take the tram.

Close to train station

Upon arrival to our room the window had been left open. It was 85 outside and so even with the air conditioning on it was warm in the room. We closed the window but was unable to get the air conditioning in the loft (bedroom area) to turn on. I reported to the staff and they said it was fixed but we were never able to get the loft cool. There were no UBS plugs anywhere in the room. I brought a converter with me but having USB ports on the nightstands would have been helpful. Also there was a powder room down stairs but no outlets so though I could do my makeup down where it was cool I could not do my hair. The hotel has a lot of construction going on around it and though it is close to the train station it is not close to shopping. It seems to be in more of an industrial area. Also we had paid for breakfast everyday of our stay but that did not include the day we left. Which since we could not check in until after 3 and would not have been there for breakfast the day of check in I felt we should have been able to have breakfast the day we checked out. Other than those issues the staff was pleasant and the food was delicious and the room was clean and not over priced.
