one of the worst experience ever! and i am talking as an Accor platinum member - sleep over 50 nights a year min. the staff is so unprofessional, so low serviceability approach. the hotel itslef like stack in the 80s , shabby furniture , smelly corridors . do yourself a favor - find other place

Do not get fooled by the photos of the cute passage with the umbrellas as a sign of what you will find in the interior of this hotel. They gave us an attic room that was not even accessible by elevator so we had to go up two high flights of stairs with our luggage to access our room. When we complained, they changed our room to another attic with elevator access. We had paid for a standard room in this 4-star hotel and what we got was completely unacceptable. The room was tiny, the carpet and furnishings were extremely old, dirty and outdated and there was no head room. My son is 6"1' and he couldn't even shower; I'm 5"5' and I hit my head against the wall several times to be able to shower as well. We had booked for 4 nights and they didn't even vacuum the floor or dusted during the whole stay. I had to call the front desk when we returned to the hotel in the evening to tell them, but they said we'd have to wait until the next day to have it cleaned. It was also a very dark room, as they only sources of light were two small lamps. There were not enough outlets to charge our phones unless we unplugged one of the lamps!! The tv was also old, so no smart tv and there no access to streaming platforms or internet-all programming in German. I do not recommend this hotel at all!!!

pros: -Early checking with baggage storage ( after 3pm you can go and you get your card) -good location - breakfast egg station cons: Airconditioning noisy rooms street side ( some are silent, some super noisy) bad gym ( its so small, what a joke) we stayed twice, going towards our trip and 7 days later on the way back. our first stay was a lot nicer than our second, the first time the room was nice and cool, the second time the aircon was crazy loud and didn't do much. first time we had a silent room with no noise outside, second time busy street and it was noisy. breakfast was below average for Vienna ( a place where they have the most amazing pastries and food) but the egg station was good, even though you can only have an omelet or fried eggs, scrambled egg or fried with tomatoes was impossible. so we didnt take breakfast on our second stay. we asked for late checked the second time, this was 30 euros, once we reached our room at 12:05 they didnt enter the late checkout, and we had to go all the way back, and the reception didnt seem to care... they have one Sauna which was nice and clean, the Gym is terrible, 4 cardio machines and 3 weights. our first stay I would have given 4/5 stars, our second stay below 3, so the 3 is the average.

Cons: We booked a Classic Twin Room for 3 nights (including a desk) This was based on the hotel website photos indicating the appearance of the room. Upon entering we were shocked. The room was tiny, no desk, and a VERY small bathroom. I went downstairs and asked reception if they had a room with a desk as per the photo and was told “sorry, no”. I showed a screen shot of the photo of the “Classic Twin Room”, to be told “photos do not indicate the room. I personally find this very misleading and told them so. They told me they would try the next day to give us another room. So we worked using a stool and coffee table. Of course, the next day we were told a new room wasn’t possible (with a smirk by the staff member who initially checked us in and who walked past as we were told this by another staff member ) The bathroom shower is hopeless. The glass doors hit both the basin and the towel rack. Easy to smash the glass. It also leaked every shower. The towels are small and thin. Pros: Walking distance to the city centre. The restaurant was very pleasant as were the bar staff. It was very pleasant to sit along the cobblestone passage way and have dinner and a drink. Our barman was fabulous! We spent many evening hours sitting outside of an evening as we hated the room. It was such a shame as the hotel could have been charming. My advice: Contact the hotel upon booking and check if you are going to receive the room you booked.

Grate place, but the worst services I have ever experienced in the reception. After a very long trip, I have kindly asked to have a room asap. Unfortunately, I have been waiting 5 hours, while many other persons were checking in, to have my room ready and I have been told for hours that it is ready soon, that the cleaning staff is prioritizing it, but with absolutely no success. Greatly disappointed!
