Breakfast: At the weekend, this was the best breakfast buffet I’ve had in an economy hotel, with lots of choice, including more expensive items like smoked salmon, Buck’s Fizz, etc. I appreciated there were three varieties of vegan milk. But during the week they skimp and remove all of the expensive items, even though the hotel is still busy with guests… Rooms: Somehow they were ‘booked out’ of the room we actually booked, which shouldn’t happen. However the staff were apologetic and did offer us perks to make up for it. The room was pretty small but big enough for a weekend city trip, I saw the room dimensions when I booked so that was no surprise. Only thing was our thermostat didn’t work, it was stuck on 28°C (!!). Staff: Mostly friendly. However when we went to check out the very young man on reception basically ignored us and presumed we didn’t speak German so started bitching with his colleagues about how much he didn’t want to do our check out (“ich habe keinen Bock” etc.) which was very unprofessional. They then said we hadn’t paid and we were asked to pay again when we’d already paid in full in advance. Location: Hotel is a good balance between location and price - easy to get around but without the premium price of inner-city hotels. We are more than happy to walk 20-30 minutes (you can also take public transport for just a few stops to most places) so if you are too then I’d recommend.

Waiting for the complementary drink for one hour because staff was busy with checking in other guests. Your staff was very friendly but there was no one to serve the guests at the bar area. Management, do your homework! You lost me to the competitor, who knows how to serve loyal customers!

We had an excellent one night stay at the hotel. The complimentary water in the lobby was honestly unreal, so so fresh so ice cool. The bar was ideal for a quick drink before you head out for the evening and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean with a contemporary open plan design where you could view the TV from the shower or your partners feet in the bed. Our friends stayed in the room next to us, one of them is called the Priomhide because he tells off his other mates when they act up. To summarize, an amazing stay and icy cool fresh water

One of the worst… no… the worst business stay of my career. I sent a box to the hotel under specific instruction of the reception, as result my package was refused by the hotel and completely lost (this was absolutely necessary for my stay in Vienna). I asked clarification to the reception… no answer When arrived I had to wait for 3 hours to get my room (booked and paid in advance) due to a problem with the software… there were just a youg boy at the desk and were not able to solve the matter (anyway he was nice and offered me something to drink while waiting). This may happen… anyway this morning I forgot my airpods in the room and they magically disappeared (i’m sure i left the airpods in the rooms since the tracking says that they are there). Anyway… the airpods seems lost. Now I’m trying to contact the hotel to ask for updates and… i called about 15 times but no one is replying. Is this normal? Nothing went good, it is a shame that a group like ibis is offering such a bad experience to their guests… i will never book again at ibis

Stayed here with my wife for a city break,very clean and nice food,friendly staff,the location is great, just turn right outside hotel and a 5 min walk to the subway that takes you into the city centre in 5 mins,the train for the airport is beside the subway,would highly recommend.
