Our experience was good: very efficient and friendly staff at reception, and breakfast (food and service) was excellent. We were upgraded (gold card) although to a room that connected with another - and the sound proofing between the two rooms was not good. We discovered this only late in the evening, and the occupants of the adjoining rooms were quiet by the time we wanted to sleep, so we did not complain. If we had been staying more than a single night, we would have asked to move rooms - and I think that if you are allocating connecting rooms to non-connected guests you ought to check with them in advance. It was also unfortunate that one of the lifts was out of order on the day we arrived - and two were out of order on the morning we left - but we realise that this is the kind of thing that can happen.

The hotel is well placed and clean and tidy. Being hit by a lot of music noise was a shock but couldn’t be heard in our room so we both slept soundly.

The hotel is very pleasant, clean, with very helpful and professional staff. They serve very rich, varied breakfast (plenty of good made to order egg options, nice selection of cheese and fresh fruit) and have a very beautiful breakfast area.
