Fidèle à ce Sofitel depuis 15 ans c'est toujours un plaisir d'y séjourner de nouveau. Check in et out (ou Club) efficaces. Accueil toujours très sympathique et chaleureux au Club millésime avec un service efficace au petit déjeuner avant d'aller travailler. Espace piscine/spa vraiment très agréable et le bonheur de nager au pied du Nil sans entendre les voitures. Les chambres sont correctement équipées mais néanmoins vieillissantes (moquette, meubles...). Surtout point qui devient très problématique avec les boîtes de nuits et restaurants installés sur des bateaux à quai de part et d'autre du sofitel: l'absence totale d'isolation des baies vitrées des chambres. Lors de mes 3 derniers séjours j'ai du changer à chaque fois de chambre (aucun problème pour l'équipe de la réception) mais où que l'on soit le bruit sourd des basses (quasiment tous les jours jusqu'à au moins 3h) ou les musiques extérieures s'entendent énormément L'environnement désormais très bruyant du Sofitel fait que ce qui n'etait pas un problème il y à quelques années le devient. Reste que le charme de l'hôtel opère toujours malgré tout et que l'espace monumental du lobby, qui a été modernisé, ou la qualite des restaurants "sur le Nil" font du sofitel une très bonne adresse.
