Good, albeit evacuated

Stayed for three nights. Good experience, nothing to complain about, except the night where the hotel was evacuated due to fire and we spent almost two hours in the rain outside and eventually in the lobby. I understand it is difficult situation, but I would have appreciated a bit more information, if not during the situation, then at least afterwards. I guess something had really happened because the hallway outside my room was soaked and there was a strange smell (smoke?). I imagine many guests are repeat Brussels travellers. If I had been the hotel manager I would have provided something (a meal?) to guests who spent their evening in the rain, not knowing if they would be able to get their clothes and stuff for tomorrow's meetings.

Your staff are always so kind and they gave me my favourite room. On this occasion, during the fire, Abdennour was amazing. I think he was extremely courageous to run up and down the stairs making sure all the guests were out, and he was very efficient. Your staff are what makes the hotel and I hope they will all stay.

Quiet. Walk right out to small suare, with lots of dinning options. And foodtruck tgat serves "best pommmes frites" in country. Don't miss the breakfast(include with my stay). The resident pastry chef makes the best cakes and bake goodies.The croissants--worldclass--are to die for. 😋
