Our stay at Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa was uneven and did not fully meet expectations for a 5-stars hotel. Negatives: Pre-stay communication was slow and required several reminders, especially regarding New Year’s Eve and concierge requests. Despite having a confirmed New Year’s Eve restaurant reservation (by e-mail), it was ignored upon arrival, which negatively impacted the start of our holiday (even though it was eventually resolved). Housekeeping needs improvement: ants were constantly present in the room and bathroom, and we observed pillows being placed on the floor during cleaning service. I believe this is unacceptable at this level. Communication with some staff was difficult even in English or French. The hammam did not appear properly maintained, on-site activities were limited (particularly during bad weather) and Accor status was not acknowledged at all. Positives: The gardens are stunning and very well maintained. Some staff members, especially in the restaurant, genuinely tried their best and provided good service. Spa treatments were very good and also some of the spa facilities were appreciated. Overall: A hotel with strong potential, but service consistency, cleanliness, communication and guest recognition must improve to truly reflect the Sofitel brand.

Great experience with the professionalism of the staff, warm welcoming at breakfast and cleaning team… Down side, bed, mattress uncomfortable, sofa bed as well. Furniture average, bath robe and towels old looking.
