Overall the stay was good in a very good location. But the room has no ironing board and iron. If the hotel mostly has business people staying, ironing equipment is essential in every room. I asked for it and the staff never brought to me. Thank God I had some colleagues staying at the same time and they were lucky they received it and I borrowed it. There are no hair conditioners in bathroom and no hand cream. Breakfast is very simple buffet. I would like to see more options and variety.

The location was excellent — very convenient for accessing the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the service was good overall. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a nice variety of options. For improvement, I'd suggest making a few basic amenities available by default rather than on request: hair conditioner, body lotion, toothpaste kit, ironing facilities etc, I had to specifically ask for these during my stay, whereas other hotels I've stayed at — such as Radisson Blu — provide them as standard.

Lots of things need to be improved. No information in the rooms about the hotels facilities, room service, etc. The information on the TV is useless. TV also says you can cast your apps to it, it doesn't work. When I called the front desk to ask about casting I was told "no, you can't do that" even though it says so on the Hotel TV. The fast dial buttons on the phones don't ring the correct facility. Hit the room service button and it goes to the front desk. Hit the front desk button it goes nowhere. It was late, I had been travelling for 12 hours, all I wanted to do was order some food to the room then go to sleep. Front desk had to ask the bar / room service to call me. In all fairness the food was lovely and the bar staff were lovely. The front desk were miserable and a little unpleasant. I was meant to be there for 3 nights, I left after 2. Ended up in a Radisson hotel that was amazing.

I was staying with family in 2 rooms. I sent email confirming 2 nearby/adjacent rooms. When I reached for checkin at midnight, our rooms were allocated on different floors. Apparently, the booking/reservation staff despite confirming me on email, did not inform reception or room allocation staff. Took 30mins to checkin at midnight. In room, AC was not working and there was no ventilation, reception staff tried to fix the problem, but AC was still not working. She was kind enough to bring a table fan for the night.

Very well located, but on Aug 21, the cleaning lady entered the room with her own key card despite there was a sign "Do Not Disturb" hung on the outside of the door. It was very disturbing and has never happened before (I believe I have been stayed in about 60 - 70 hotels around Europe). Breakfast was kind of plain, coffee not very good. During the breakfast some day they cleaned tables a bit too actively – on Aug 21 they took away my freshly filled juice glass in the middle of my breakfast. Some days, on the contrary, the cleaning team was quite lazy – on Aug 22 there were plenty of tables with no people at them but uncleaned. Overall kind of strange experience, wouldn't stay there again nor wouldn't recommend this hotel to my friends.

The room on the 8th floor had a very nice view, was comfortable, quiet and extremely clean. The front office team is awesome, especially the lady working on the 23rd of august midday:) Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant is well organized and the staff members are very welcoming. Overall a great hotel, beautiful, well located.

+ perfectly situated in the center of the city + good views from the upper floor rooms + exactly the quality you could expect from a Novotel + good breakfast with lots of choices + staff was polite and very efficient
