We stayed one night. The room was clean but basic but had what was needed. No soundproofing whatsoever meant that we were woken at 5.15 with what sounded like a massive delivery crashing against every door possible!! However, the staff were fantastic. All very pleasant, all housekeeping staff said hello when they passed, the man on reception was really helpful, lovely to talk to, brought up extra tea tp the room when I text the number and held our bags next day no problem.

I booked the hotel a few months back when we booked tickets for the Jersey Boys, I had stayed at the Ibis a number of years ago and remembered it was in a great position to get around Aberdeen. The wee before we were due to arrive I contacted the hotel to request a quite room on a high floor, Maximin Fieschi got back to me within minutes to say they had arranged my request, great service, the hotel itself is clean and all the staff we came in contact to were very friendly and professional. When we are back in Aberdeen in the future we will definitely book the Ibis hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

Bedroom was very cold on arrival due to window being open. Covers were tucked in so far down at bottom of bed, quilt did not cover my shoulders and I was cold. Bathroom, despite looking clean, stank of wee. Was going to tell reception on leaving but there were other people at reception desk and was jn rush to get out to go to work.

As usual the room was comfortable and clean. The staff (including housekeeping) were polite, friendly, and attentive. The food is 'no frills' and in most cases my evening meal was fine. However, during my 20 night stay, 2 evening meals, prepared by a new member of staff, failed to please. Everyone has to learn, I do not expect a repeat performance when I return for another 20 night stay in March.

I was very pleased with my choice of hotel, I reserved a quiet, non smoking room and was very pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. I would definitely book again and try to get the same room again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I think I may have gone to breakfast a little late, as it was rather lukewarm. Overall, I will be pleased to book Ibis Quayside again, the central position was a great help.
